Back to Brinny (Brinsworth) bloody kids
This video wont mean much to most people unless you knew me or my mate in this film, or lived on this estate, it's a walk round our old estate from mid 60s remembering growing up there's too much to tell but here's a bit.
There wont be another unless demand requires it, then I would then try and get more people involved.

Nothing serious about this, I'm no Pub or beer expert, and to be honest theres not a bad one amongst the 9 that I did, they all have their own thing about em, and thats why they are still in business today.

Millmoor abandoned? Behave. An unplanned and unscripted 'off the cuff' video, whilst I awaited the MOT on my car, a crap story (but ya like scrap stories don't ya) and loads o waffling Rotherman style.

In the village i live in Australia, there's a Japanese restaurant that has a robot as waiter, and they only accept card payments. Never will be a patron there!

I've been past countless times but never been in.
Good to see pubs hanging on and surviving, so many have closed over the last few years.
Looks old. I wonder if some of the windows were blocked up during the " window tax"?
@@ladystardust2885 he said it was the oldest pub in parkgate, wether he meant oldest or the oldest still going I don't know.
Had some r8 neets in there 😊😊
Our babysitter was very obliging. Two family's in two caravans and when our parents went out, it was an education. Happy memories.
Lol
Loving the song!
We used to always go in there to ease it down at the end of a night, last pub before heading back. Always had a friendly vibe.
If they dont take cash i will not be going in.
Looks like it's had face-lift since I was in
Commented before end of video lol
Was the transport cafe called Mac’s? Think the new houses were built as part of a housing regeneration programme to replace older housing that was demolished in the area. Think they date from about 2012ish.
@@Kinbstdds I've no idea bud, but there's a guy on here commented called Tony says his mum owned it in the 80s
Rotherham needs to Buck the trend and scrap the pedestrianisation and allow full access to cars and also build more car parks with free parking then maybe the town centre will start to revive. I am Rotherham born and bred and have lived here all my life but never visit the town centre anymore it’s just far easier to shop at Meadow Hall and Parkgate Retail World where you can easily park your car.
Remember the wallaby kidnapped from Clifton Park and stashed in a cubicle in the gents in the Turf? 😂
Eyup John dat looked really nice and yep I agree micro pub in name only ,should av had real ale tho pal John smiths is John smiths to me never tastes any different no matter where da gets it . Another good on and de " I'm not a toilet guy" caption cracked me up🤣🤣 si de on't next un👍

Thanks for that. I never got to see it on my last trip to Rothers
@@ladystardust2885 no probs I'm glad I went in now. Lovely lady who owns it.
Beer bottle and cocktail glass. Clever
Magintys was there before tut and shive and it's pheofees
I didn't know about magintys. The feoffees of Rotherham had the school built for boys, and it became known as bluecoats school after the blazers the boys had to wear, hence the naming of the feoffees and then later bluecoats, from the history of the building. Wetherspoons obviously bought it and that's what it is today.
