National Park with DJ Foot
The National Park is located with its main entrance on Thomas Road in Thomas Lands, Georgetown. The park occupies approximately 57 acres of land and was home to the Demerara Golf Club which was established in 1823. The site was renamed the Queen Elizabeth II National Park in 1965 in honour of the Queen’s visit to Guyana. On May 25, 1966, many gathered at the park to witness the birth of Guyana when the Union Jack was lowered and the Golden Arrow Head hoisted. The name of the park was changed after the country’s achievement of its independence on May 26, 1966.

New Amsterdam Mashramani 2024 (Berbice)
The water has its history , purpose and value to the nationals . I always will have a level of deference to my country and the grandeur of its geographical features I can enumerate. From the Kingston seawall to the number 63 Beach to Bartica & the many shorelines these areas hold irreplaceable memories for many as the shores were a mecca where individuals gathered , interacted and exchanged energies , thoughts and ideas . It was social without the media in a certain epoch and still is a place for congenial congregations . Childern who are our forthcoming generation have leisurely time flying kites on Easter , enjoying snowcones , & snacks play in these very water . In the hinterlands mothers taught daughters how to wash clothes. Local vendors make their profits near the seawall . These waters , home to an array of aquaticlife are responsible for savory delicious meals we prepare that leave us satiated . Profuse reverence to all of the industrious entrepreneurs i.e fisherman whom invest in lifeforms which live and procreate in the water to making a living to feed their families . The aquaticlife that dwell in that water are also a commodity for the skillful chefs in restaurants , the beautiful indigenous hardworking individuals adept and comprised with a level of adroitness . Some young men learned to cast a net to catch fish in this very water , built and sailed their first boats in the waters or just had a heart to heart with their fathers or their comrades. Some met their first love and experienced their first kiss there watching beautiful blissful sunsets and even sunrises . Ships like the Clyde arrived on the shorelines with our forefathers and Matriarchal figures to our families lineage. Religious ceremonies take place in these waters as water holds energy. Guyana 🇬🇾 she is a Gem hence the copious amount of gold she is compromised of ❤️ .

Thank you. I appreciate it.
Nice job
No. 63 Beach was noted for the coconut trees. What happened? The beaches at No. 4 and 5 villages along the west coast of Berbice may be better than the once lovely No. 63 beach.
