This is one of my favorite videos on the entire platform. As a small streamer myself, who often has no viewers at all, it hurts to just talk into the void. To know that your words are just echoing into the darkness, with no one to hear them. Its degrading, painfull. But this video has given me the motivation to keep going, to try to stream and create a community no mater how long it takes. Because its worth it. Thank you, really.

I ended stream today after 5 hrs of 0 viewers. I just looked at the cam and just signed off. Fixed a snack, laid down, watched youtube, scrolled a bit more, and drifted off to sleep. Sadness indeed. But uggghhhh....i will not falter and i shall not let it break me!!!

Damn I relate to this so much. My peak viewers was 8. I typically get 2 to 3, but basically it's just me. I have been trying so hard to fill my youtube page and reddit with content to get viewership up. I just keep trying and hope maybe one day it will change.

I try to stream everyday and am encouraged by my family to do so. It’s been around 2 years now. The most amount of views I had at once was 4; and they weren’t real people either. It was just coincidental timing that multiple spam bots showed up. They act disappointed when I tell them I haven’t streamed in a few days or that I’ve slowed down. It is extremely depressing to sit there for 6+ hour streams everyday and have no one check it out. I’m sitting here, talking to nobody, trying to be interesting and entertaining to empty seats. When even the family members that are encouraging you to stream don’t check it out for even 1 minute a day….why would anyone else? And it’s shown; they don’t.

Find other small or dead streamers that you think have potential and spark an interest in you and hang out together live. It'll support you mentally. I'm also just starting and it doesn't fall into my hands right away, but it's alright.

I'm still fairly new but I love streaming, even though I'll get maybe 1 person. I love recording my reactions in real time to games and just chatting shit to myself. For me, it's a time capsule of what I love at the time and a good focus on escapism. Even if that 1 person viewing gets a little bit of enjoyment - that's awesome! Obviously not everything feels the same as I do. Please don't quit. If one person is struggling and needs a streaming friend for a terrible moment of their lives, I hope they find you.

This is also the same for me I stream on TikTok every single day I have 213K followers and still don’t even get 10 people in my lives and it’s just so demotivating to be happy and do well honestly I put so much hard work into my videos, reading chat, playing with viewers just so I can keep people in my stream and show them who I really am and it never succeeds but even till this day I’m still streaming and trying my best 💜

I don't mean to brag or anything. But I once hit 5 viewers in my 5 years of active streaming. If I keep this up, I'll have a peak viewership record of about 70 viewers when I'm 90 y/o! 😎

stream to yt, you are going to find ALOT more success that way because yt actually pushes your stream and content out to people where twitch and kick and them platforms dont have a feature like that so people have to scroll through hundreds even thousands of people before getting to you. and make content dont just stream build a following and then you can bring them over to your streaming

guys ill be honest/ I remember when i had no viewers on my streams now i have around 5-10 (im still starting). I started uploading clips to tiktok and thats when i saw improvement. Trust the processs and never give up.

In 2 years, we will see this guy streaming to 20k+ viewers, and he will watch this video again and tell everyone, Never give up.
