Isn’t She Lovely by the Hornheads - Clark HS Jazz Quintet
who let that trumpet player cook at 5:03 ☠️☠️☠️😭😭😭🤣🤣🫵🫵🫵
trumpet at 5:03 😭
What was that trumpet solo at 5:03 💀
Dane is from another planet!!!
Kenni would be proud. 🎵🎶🕶🎷
Respect!
Let’s go!!! You KILLED it! 🎼
Rock on!
That's crazy, I remember watching this as a 6th grader and now were playing this song in the mighty cougar Jazz band.
Thats crazy as a sophomore I only recognize 4 people
Never can understand how a band of this calibre put up with the awful talking, clattering of plates and eating. Disgraceful and disrespectful.
Twice I have been supposed to have seen them at Ronnie Scotts, London and twice it’s been postponed. Now rescheduled for April 2022. Will be the sixth time I’ve seen them. I blame Miles Davis, saw them support him in Hawaii in the 90’s and was hooked from the first notes of Wildlife. Been a lifelong fan ever since :-)
Is triple c the name of the song?
Dave Matthews Band - #41
So cool!
WILL IS SO CRISP AND TIGHT ON THAT TINY KIT
Ive seen them "round the world...LoVe em!!
Anyone else get the feeling that those chowhounds on the front row have very little clue as to what they're mostly missing?!? I get it, not everyone was there for the YJs specifically, but I just don't think I could concentrate on my fork for a single second with Bob and the boys killing it to such a high level, as usual. Jacob clearly knows.......
P.S. their latest rendition with WDR big band kills me even more!
😂so true!!! Such an awesome group to see love. I’ve transcribed a lot of mintzer and I got to take a picture with him and meet him backstage and he was so cool. Such an engaging and killin performance.
@@ajbfwb and I’ll have to check that out!
@@jacobaguado8928 Totally. Met Bob (and Randy Brecker!) when my college jazz ensemble ended up at the same festival with Bob and his original NYC big band. Unfortunately, two of the bigger names in the band (Pete Erskine and Dave Taylor) sent subs, as they were reluctant to leave the city, even for just a couple of days. At one point, I asked Randy if Arista was going to re-release all the Brecker Brothers recordings. He wasn't sure, but said, "hey, you should check out what my brother's got goin' on ", which, of course, I did. It turned out to be his first solo album - "Michael Brecker", on the Blue Note label. BTW, during my entire chat with Randy, there was an attractive young woman on his arm, and I don't recall her saying a single word. I realized months later that woman was Eliane Elias.
@@ajbfwb wow what a story!! That’s so cool man haha. What a neat experience!
FANTASTIC playing, seriously can’t believe y’all are only in high school
Thanks so much!
That bass solo omg. This kid is really something. I miss Jimmy though
Dane Alderson is so killer and the nicest guy! Jimmy is definitely irreplaceable
he reminds me Scott Henderson but playing the bass with such an agressive and colorful phrases
Damn they started it fast and kept it swinging all the time. Awesome will!
You absolutely destroyed that tenor solo!
Thank you man!!
There’s not a band in the world can come close to these guys... Enough said
Where was this concert?
Vibrato Grill Jazz, Beverly Hills, Los Angeles!
Noice 🎧
Yes sir!
No lo siento como antes , ahy algo que no anda bien ; antes tenian otra energia musicalmente hablando
Interesante. Han pasado por muchos músicos diferentes. El saxofonista y el pianista fueron los únicos músicos originales. Usan muchos bajistas. Todavía fue una actuación increíble para ver.
Saw them rehearse this in person a few months ago. I’ll never forget it!!
Is this "Dewey"?
E G YES!!! You have no idea how long I’ve been trying to figure out what this tune is! Thank you ! Haha
11:36 "I'm gonna be 70 years old next year"

I was at that same concert and able to get Arturo’s autograph in the parking lot. Awesome
Where did you guys get the sheet music?
Nick Statham I wish I could tell you but I looked online and couldn’t find it. My band director just picked it out for us. www.hornheads.com/media/bonuslicks/transcription-downloads/trans-Kenni/Isn't%20She%20Lovely%20-%20%20Tenor%20solo.pdf I did find the tenor solo though
You guys are awesome!
