Although I am not from America, I am a huge Half Life fan. Shepard motivated me to serve in the Russian army since childhood.
@@PorchaMorcha i am not from America either but this game is probably my most favourite game ever. The marines were my favourite enemy in the main game and Shephard is my favourite protagonist
True. Combine soldiers are pathetic. HECU marines are hell of enemies.
The HECU are a lot more fun to fight, I love the more strategic gameplay of the first game.

Well most of the marines were stranded and killed in Black Mesa or killed in the 7 hour war But there is still a small chance that a HECU marine that survived the war turned into a combine soldier
