2023 Honda CRV Hybrid Dashcam Install
Quick video showing how to install a 2 channel dash cam on a 2023 CRV Hybrid Sport.
Disclaimer: I am by no means a professional installer. I do not recommend installing the dash cam cables over the airbag as I did in this video. It was my work around to have my dash cam installed myself, but is not recommended.
Install at your own risk.

    Thanks for the information. I have a new 2025 and it’s got an interior “main fuse box” and a smaller interior “sub-fuse box” that are hard to see let alone access. There’s a panel that might come off but I’m a little nervous about guessing since it’s so new I haven’t even put gas in it since taking delivery of it. If someone knows if and how it comes off it would be helpful. The owners manual is completely silence about access. I did an install on my 2015 but things have changed.

      @@patrickdaly836 you definitely don’t need to use the sub fuse box for this. I would stick to the main interior fuse box. Especially since you’ll have more slots to tap into. I believe the sub fuse box consist of 1 ACC slot, 1 Meter slot, and 1 option slot. I may be wrong, regardless the main fuse box will do you better.

      Hey there! It’s been a while since I’ve had this pedal but hopefully my memory serves me well. 1) to get into manual mode hit pedal 3 and 4 at the same time. That is also how you move back into the “bank” or “memory” mode. 2) to change between banks hit pedal 1 and 2 at the same time then cycle with pedal 1 or 2. 3) P1-P9 are just preset banks with 4 patches each, I’m not sure the exact FX on these but I’m sure there should be a manual that has them on the internet. Also, These are not able to be over written. You can only write new patches into U1-U9.

    Hello. Just watched video which is very helpful. Was looking to see best way to pull rear hatch trim. Just wanted to mention that fuse taps are directional. You have one in one direction and the other in the opposite direction meaning only one is pulling power from the proper leg and using both fuses separately. The other is going to be drawing both loads (original and dashcam) across the main fuse. You may wish to consider using a test light to determine which side is supply from fuse box and orient both fuses in proper direction. Hope this helps. Thanks again for posting the video.

Also , if you had to add the fuse connector then how do you know how the wires line up with the new few adapter. I am sure there will be different color wires . • @MrAngeeeeeeel
      @MrAngeeeeeeel Год назад

      I ordered one myself, check out the video description to get the correct fuse tap kit. In order to properly connect the fuse to the fuse box you will need a fuse tester. You can get a cheap one from Amazon or your local auto shop. When you put your fuses into the actual tap itself the only thing that matters is that the original is in the slot closest to the prongs and the fuse for the dash cam is in the rear slot (doesn’t matter if the number is facing you or away from you). Most dash cam wires will come labeled as “Batt” and “ACC+”, that will be how you determine where to put the tap. The “Batt” wire will go to your constant (always on) fuse, your “ACC+” will go to a fuse that receives power when your car turns on. Only way to test that is with a tester.

    So, I have an interesting question? I just got this same unit obviously several years after production, but I like its simplicity factor. However, I'm confused about something. Even though I save my sounds, effects ect.. for example, in U1 1 thru 4, and it's all saved how I set it, I noticed that IF I accidently turn one of my effects knobs for instance, lets say I moved the knob from Chorus to Flanger on the Modulation stomp area, then it still changed the effect from what i had it saved as. Is that Normal??? I thought once you saved the effect adjustments that it would remain unless you went in to re edit it? Plz help. Thanks & God bless
