Thank you for your clear explanation. I connected it as you did. When I turn it on I get 4 connecting bars ---- . If I press a bar for 3 seconds I get a number and not what you see on the screen.¹ What should I do to prevent this?

Boa tarde, estou pensando em utilizar esse sensor e imãs para gerar um sinal para o acelerador de um kart elétrico. Controlando a velocidade do motor elétrico. Nesse caso eu preciso utilizar dois ímãs? Para conseguir simular o 0,8v (sem acelerar) e o 5v (acelerando)?

thanks, i tried it just like you showed but my multimeter constantly reads 3v on the signal out. i guess the sensor is broken. i am interested in a controller but it's ADC supports only 3.3v instead of 5. given that the controller provides the voltage and reads it, it should work?

Could a person replace thos with a 3 wire POT ? Like a 50k ohm?
