Love your response.
He's ok. Just shocked at the size of his latest batch of bribes.
This is the best, most honest advice I've heard in a while, and it can be applied to anything. I'm 36 and love making art and music as well as acting, but for years I've neglected all of those things that have brought me enjoyment and instead focused on getting a "professional" career that I never really wanted to do anyway. I just decided to go into healthcare because it was job security, but after several years its burned me out and now I'm at a crossroads. I just want get a regular day job and dive back into the arts, but I'm still afraid of rejection and failure, that it's too late. Bryan didn't get cast as Hal until he was 40, and didn't get the role of a lifetime as Walt until he was 50. It's never too late. Its great advice that I'll try to remember; whatever it is you love, do it with no expectations of "getting" the job, work hard, develop confidence in your craft, and as long as you enjoy it, that's success in and of itself.
Beautiful insight. Adding to my toolbox! 🙏🏽

Have you even seen twin peaks?
Wow, think of auditions as not getting a job, but doing your job! Confidence, Consistency and discipline are keys in life!
Unattachment to the outcome and focus on the work- this is a shloka from Bhagavad Gita, said by Lord Krishna. It's called the Karma Theory.
急に出てきた同士居ない??笑
sure!
THIS IS SO RICH 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
This is incredible advice. Very well put and eloquently said.

I wonder who he took the seminar with
“Never slack from a successful reputation” 👏
Do all my hardwork without an attachment to an outcome 👏
So true
A very good ab-wise for ANY aspiring artist 13Love

I love everything about this! Absolutely great stuff and should be part of not just actors, but everyone’s self help tool kit! Especially for us actors…Let go. We’re here to do a job not get a job. Be happy for the person who gets it because it was for them to have. 🙌🏽
I needed this, I appreciate you posting this.
Wisdom from a great actor...
The actor's actor.
For what Bryan Cranston gave for role of Walter White, trust me any offer is giving it away

I'm a voice actor, I always doubt myself and am surrounded by absolutely talented people. But after watching this... I feel like I've gained a little more confidence in my abilities and wanting go out there and do my best.
HOW?! 😭
magic
Great advice!
A loooot of wisdom in this.
Good advice for any job interview.
This is very powerful advice.
Thank you so much.
Wow absolutely amazing I understand totally what you're saying thank you for your advice brilliant 👏 xx
bruh this video needs a million views. Dropping gems!!
Thank you for sharing this. This is the advice that every actor needs in order to grow and develop the right way. The trap is falling into a place of anger/resentment when you try to hold on to an outcome.
As an actress who's struggling developing that Actor's Arrogance... This completely changes my perspective. I feel actually relieved. Make your dreams reality everyone. And enjoy your craft. We chose a beautiful one ❤️🥂
There's a big difference between confidence and arrogance - noone likes the latter!
It reminds me of the Joe Chambers interview of Marty Stuart. At Marty's first introduction to Johnny Cash, Marty needed a job and had finagled his way into the room. Johnny asked him were he was from. He told him. Johnny said, "I thought so. Where've you been?" "Gettin' ready." And not long after, Marty got the call to join Johnny's band. Friends and neighbors until Johnny died.
i wish i got the amazing story he told before this where him and his brother were cross country traveling like motorcycle hermits taking odd jobs for a bit then moving town to town...then they got accused of murdering their boss at the restaurant they worked at.
I remember hearing that Madeline Kahn was shocked that people thought she was funny.
His advice reminds me of a person whose mind has been touched by the Bhagavad Gita. Very sage advice.❤️
