It is possible with a workaround. You need to purchase an extra OEM BMW valve, a cable splitter and reuse the existing valve on the original exhaust and put it on our exhaust. Then, you need to connect everything. Keep in mind that BMW hybrids do not open the valves in sport mode and Xtraboost, unless boost is asked so during stand still or slow cruising, the valves remain closed. This means that you need to purchase an extra valve controller that works with the original valves like the ones from Dahler to open the valves. At that point you can fully open the valves with the extra remote control, but that is a lot of work for the same function as the one that is included with the exhaust.

Yes, that is basically a plug and play number that can be reached on a dyno and varies if the exhaust or intakes are getting modified.

This is the B48B20A engine and an external ECU, we keep the external ECU at a safe 350HP instead of the usual 385HP for the B48B20A engine with a on-ECU remap. An external ECU does not reach the same potential as the FEMTO unlock + remap. The B48B20A engine is found in all LCI, all Touring and all xDrives as far as we know. why would you want to buy/tune a b46

@@Enhanced94 good question but the good answer was having the same power to weight ratio as a m340i but it didn't cost 40-60k

@@anthonycruz8011 with a b46 I highly doubt you can reach those powers reliably, maybe with a b48 you can

@@Enhanced94 they're exactly the same engine fyi the difference is the downpipe just a heads up and you van actually surpass 400 hp with a upgraded turbo on the b46 reliably and but I personally am not running it like that I said power to weight ratio not power the 330i is 300-400 lbs lighter than a m340i which helps not needed as much power to get the same perfromance

@@Enhanced94 and they both have the same internals as a b58 just as an fyi which currently no one's blown them but the forged piston kits are usually rated for around 700 hp and up so It would be right to assume that's where your rezcuning mechanical limits of the components however no chance the trans can hold that lol more of a reason why I'm down here in hp stauing below 400 I'm super safe

The external ECU plugs into the existing sensors and you can remove it any time you want. The power gains are the claimed gains, which means on a hybrid with a full battery, the stated numbers are reached on a dyno

@@psrparts thanks for the answer. What would you say its the difference between your external ECU and the one from AC Schnitzer where they charge 4800€ for 50hp gains and from Mosselman where they achieve 530hp on a 45e? (According to their RUclips vídeos).

Both are B48, but for driving fun I'd take 330i for its lighter. Exhaust is good but won't make a huge difference, I'd do downpipe and tune before you do mid pipe and or axel back for just performance. Plus actually sounds good with just downpipe, that's probably easiest way to add good deep sound

@@danieljordan5572 i also wanted to get a cold air intake as well as a down pipe i just didnt mention it at first, do you know what the 330e is like with a air intake because i cant find any videos online, only for the 330i. i was looking at dce parts

@@Foxip I just looked under the hood of a 330i and a 330e that I have here on my lot. They're both the same downpipe and same intake. The only difference would be if you wanted to do an ethanol sensor where you route it to get to the DME would be blocked by the hybrid components
