Welcome to my channel. What started back in 2007 where I made some of my own racing videos in SIC track.
Now 2022 reviving it to feature and share some of the cars I work with as well as to bring you back some track video footage and maybe perhaps some video of my weight lost hobby, cycling, which in turned made me healthier and lighter to hopefully make me faster in track too. Haha..

Project718s - 1st Maintenance work + Race Downpipe Install with Sound Check
#project718s 1st maintenance work we did for the car in preparation of some spirited driving with the cars in the coming months.
As mentioned earlier, both air-cond filter change is a must. Follow by engine and transmission oil change with the quality Speedmaster Oil from Japan. We use them as its proven in all our other cars in road and track.
Next up was a set of stainless braided brake hose from #goodridge UK flushed with high quality #ebcbrakes race brake fluid. Front pads we chose the PFC track pads and rear were Brembo OE replacement. With this simple upgrades, the brakes were hell a lot of different, stopping much better than previous.
Next up we want to free up the engine a little b...

#project718s 1st thing we did was a DIY to refurbished the worn out key that came with the car. Buttons were peeling, casing was worn out and no porsche logo. Last week 2 FL5 came in for a dyno run as well as ecu data removed for analysis. Red FL5 is a UKDM spec and fully stock and did about 292whp 41kgm Grey FL5 is a JDM spec which comes with a 180kmh limiter! He finds out later that the cvt is only rated for 250 hp
@illegalkegels not sure what personal experience you have with the cvt, but we have done plenty of fc and fe over those power. But of course if u do silly things even stockish power you can kill a cvt
I dont get why you wouldn't just spring for an Si and get the manual. CVT's are just awful.

Prl suck means good or no good. I think xpower cheaper n better. Is only the brand makes it expensive
@Lrongjjkk it just simply mean the prl hvi sucks alot of air for max performance. No experience with the china made xpower but from Google pictures we see they are just made metal piping n metal half box means it's IAT temp will be high n high IAT means lower power. Also metal material will cost lots of heat soak. If you have one in your car, bring it over n I can see better and I can tell you the potential weakness of it. Thanks

The valve is controlled by factory ecu but now controlled by hondata software.

@jeepdad1954 depending how the car is driven, but both cvt n gasket is in alot of stress if the car is driven hard in track. But generally street use I think it will last much longer

Cvt wheel test not inaccurate
What is not accurate u think
@@thtan777 Is the output data from the engine? or the wheels? (power/torque). Cause the problem with cvt is that they dont have a fixed ratio in the gears since they have an infinite number of ratio.
The power on the wheels. For the honda fe we can hold it on 4th gear consistently to compare data's though technically it's a virtual 4th gear but its consistently the same 4th if that make senses.

How much cost for stage 3+..?
Most owners upgrade in stages or gradually. Seldom will one go straight to stg3+
is this just with the intake changed or are there other upgrades. The whoosh is nice.
The car has a Pentagon Race Downpipe n frt pipe. The whoosh sound primary comes from the prl hvi intake
