Keep at it. You got something here. It needs to be fleshed out more but you’re on the right path( no pun intended) and I believe your channel will be big. The poker scene needs this type of perspective instead of all the typical “OMG I broke GTO with this sick strategy $200/hr guarantee”
I don't see how GTO is good for cash games. I'd imagine it's a lot better for tourneys. But one day, we'll have AI chips in our brains, and poker will be played 'autonomously'. Just look at driverless F1 cars already.
This is also my struggle, I understand how imbalanced ppl in the checking line, and I put all my air into the delayed line and blast off. Usually works, some reg might pick up what I am doing and call down light against me. But I fear is I totally understand how exploitable my strategy is, and it feels like a street trick rather than a profound and solid strategy. All my study and practice from solver seems no more useful than a simple delayed tricks, makes wonder what is the next step to improve my game.
even now, with all the free info widely available, a LOT of players are playing certain spots/lines so poorly (vs. equilibrium) that we can just be totally exploitable and give 0 fucks.
Good question and could have been more clear It’s a quick and dirty nodelock trick (imagine they bet them on turn so don’t have them now) Not going for precision here as it’s not required to demonstrate the point As an aside if I did it “properly” by node locking the turn, solver will try and defend as well as it can on river with the range we give it - which will lead to problems of its own (for the topic at hand) So long story short can’t be fucked to nodelock turn and then river Simpler is better
@@eqpoker man, if you do it like you do, the solver sees a wild overfold of TPTK and overpair, of course there will be a super plus bluff with any hand, how can the solver imagine that these hands are not in the range if they are there, just you have converted them to a fold? study the topic
The 88 hand was me. Low frequency 3b, I rolled like a 2 I remember and always calling the 4b. I remember the hand bc on the river I was thinking this is a mandatory bluff w this combo of 88 blocking both 78s combos and unblocking JJ and QQ I checked like a btch bc the 200 pool doesn’t seem to fold their bluff catchers in my experience. Not that block 78s is very relevant w how linear your range is just like when my bluffs match my value. But yea river check is a punt if I continue vs flop bet.
You twitch streams are missed by the great unwashed masses. Here in the dead of your mild Australia winter perhaps you could return to the twitch for your fans?
the ending is hilarious) thanks, great stuff
You’re like my mental poker coach 🤙🏻
I got a question. Don't we wanna tank-call so he don't know we never fold in this spot? If we snap call will he not stop bluffing us do you think?
been playing poker for 20 years and you have great knowledge, post videos more often you are fantastic mate
This is a great explanation.

loving the regular uploads with the philosophical advice, its quite rare but very valuable content
This was damn good, Darius. Keep em' coming! PS: I can hear a lot of Jason Su in what you're saying. He clearly had an effect. That's awesome.
I ran too good and felt bad, Coz I feel like I am winning only because I ran good not because I actually beat the game.

I don't get it, why did we lock that the opponent throws out strong TP and AA for a 67% bet?

awesome stuff. love it
Do you play full time now?
Poker is life
Love this! You have such a nice speaking voice
Good stuff🎉
Also, would you have an alternative to GTO Wizard for studying the behavior of a range on boards? I'm looking for a cheaper alternative
GTO+ is cheap and fast
Jam packed with great advice just found this channel can't wait for more
Great to see you back! How are you handling the colluding?
Reviewing the HH downloads and not taking the bait.
@@eqpokerwhat do you mean not taking the bait?
keep making these!
How do you deal with no break even stretches? Losing every hand when ahead , etc.
Get pissed off - go live my life - review my hands - then play the next session. Past performance does not determine future results.
Great content. What’s the HUD software? Looks quality.
Intuitive tables and a customised HM3 HUD
lets get it
You’re everywhere!
Hey Darius. Love the content man. Could watch infinity liveplays from you!
