We're Eric and Amy, a married couple on a budget, based out of Washington state. In 2022 we celebrated 20 years of marriage and started checking off items on our travel bucket list. While working on our bucket list we hope to also accomplish our lifetime dream - finding/buying property to create an oasis for like minded travelers and digital nomads. We use this channel to share interesting facts we learn, cool sights, tips for traveling on a budget and more! We have a long term travel goal to be fully nomadic and visit all the major United States cities. @@EricandAmyTravels I work as a scarecrow at the beginning of freak farm that heads into the swine. People get in line even minutes before the park closes and still get to go through. It’s fun there.

Up to an hour wait?! It's a 40 minute ride.. may as well just drive there.
That is a fair observation. When we visited Whidbey Island we chose to drive the whole way. Saving a bit of driving on our old car is sometimes worth a bit of patience. No ferry rider is going to be upset if you don’t choose to ride! 😆 Happy travels, however you choose to get there.

If the concert starts at 7 what time would you have gotten there to get good lawn seats?
To get through security and get the good lawn seats we’d say at least 3 hrs before the show starts. We chilled in the line for about a hour before the doors opened. We still had about 150 people in front of us by the time we got in line. Earlier the better basically.
The winner must declare $60,000 in prizes even though they only get $10,000 in cash. In short, add $60,000 to your income and pay taxes based upon that expanded income which will put most people into a way higher tax bracket. It is in the rules.

It's gone down hill. Last 3 times there food subpar and service sloppy. Won't be back for some time

There's a pedestrian bridge that takes you over Alaskan Way and to the ferry building! There's ticket booths and walk on catwalks from inside that building. It looks very nice! And walking from the Bainbridge Terminal to Winslow is not a long walk at all! Thanks for watching!
