@ 5:45, he talks about having 810 HP. Keep in mind he made 689 whp on one Dyno and 650ish on another. I'd say 714 horsepower. I think anything over a 25hp loss is just bs. People just make up numbers to inflate their egos.

The Nissan dealerships around here are selling the Sports at cost. The Performance and Nismo ones are advertised at cost but like you said when I talk to the dealership there is a markup for those, the severity of which depends on the dealer manager of course. Definitely planning on picking up an hshift Sport to start doing the Nismo, SPL, Z1, Brembo, AMS things to. I really want one in "Devil Z" blue, but seeing as how I'm just going to mod it anyway I may fold and get a discounted gun metallic, then use the discount for a Nismo air dam and get it all resprayed blue.

Thanks for having a camera man and decent bgm, definitely a great production value and perfect information delivery, no fluffy intros to get a certain video length or "edgy" insecure 2010's camera lens slapping outro. This channel definitely has a great production value Nismo should have you do all the upgrade and tuner community videos on their sight. It's Nissan's big shortcoming recently. They have a good chassis and a great in house tuning branch with the Nismo parts but they need to go to make more tuner focused videos and go to more events and get folks to test drive the cars. Also another partnership with SPL parts to get more hardcore parts available would be great, then get these upgraded dialed in cars out to press events at trackdays and autocrosses so folks can realize they can build one for a fraction of the cost of other cars in this power range and still have a lot of fun, especially with the hshift examples! It's all in the marketing, market the Sport Z as the factory turbo hshift "tuner spec" 350Z we never got, have workshops on tuning suspension at trackdays, there's so much they could do in the sports car community to elevate the Nissan name out of the "Big Altima Energy" and old CVT disaster muck they are still in now. Race on Sunday, sell on Monday! Since it seems you have the ear of Nismo USA I hope you can let them know about this.

Awesome man, it sounds a lot better than the two McDonalds straws it comes with stock. Looks like Nissan prioritized spending the money on upgrading the chassis and incorporating a turbo engine stock, they knew the tuner folks were going to swap out "bolt on" things like exhaust and suspension anyway so it's funny hearing critics complaining about that stuff. I like to think of the Base Z (Sport) as the "tuner special" that someone who knows how to work on cars with a decent tool collection can hang all the Nismo parts they want off of for a fraction of the price of the actual Nismo car, plus as a bonus they can get it in hshift for more driver engagement. I got to this video looking for videos on how the Nismo race/track exhaust sounds, it looks like nothing else out there with it's unique rear collector arrangement! I'm interested in your build though.

Dropping that NISMO with only an A/T was a mistake. The MSRP of 55+ is hard to justify when most owner's say they have to do extensive suspension work for it to feel proper. Had a 370Z Touring for a long time and was really excited for this gen's NISMO version. Feel like underpriced, used is the only option at the moment.

I love your Juke! I've got a 2012, have 2 kids, and a wife. I don't care what they say.... It's been paid off and its only getting better with time. New motor, and thinking of wrapping it soon. Want Orange on the bottom, and then black gloss on top. Like yours, but without the flake. I have a bunch of mods done already too, but really want the CF hood.

The reason why people complain is that it's lackluster. It's BMW M2 and Supra money, but it's missing a lot of options they have. Active Suspension, active exhaust, driving modes, heads up display, etc. The first thing Nissan fans will say is; " do we need them"? No, but you're paying for them and a lot of us like those options.

I just picked up a white 2024 nismo z for 58k + tax. No addons. The dealer had it for 6 months and so they gave me one hell of a deal

I know her and Nissan have been getting a lot of hate for not supporting the VR 30 but it's still pretty cool and love the VR 38.

I had my heart set on a manual Proto Spec. They rolled them out first and they were marked up hideously, so that never happened unsurprisingly. Since then I’ve been watching the market contemplating what to do. Initially the cars seemed to be at least holding value but once the whole “new car shortage” and Z production ramped up, the values started to tank like they normally would had Covid not happened. Ideally I’d like to end up with a Ika. yellow car Performance or Proto but I’m still waiting for the right one to come around new or used in my area with a price I’m happy with. I was in no rush but now that this whole color palette change is allegedly coming, I’m wondering weather I should be thinking about getting one while I can, because those old rehashed Z34 colors do not do it for me at all (Bayside blue does look pretty decent tho). I was disappointed to learn that unlike Japan and Australia, 432/New Sight Orange will be heritage only and not available on the standard car, otherwise that would be another spec I’d consider. I’d love to see a 240Z style dark green color with burnt orange leather also. Until then I’ve been driving a LeMans Sunset Z33 and haven’t been happier not spending money….
