For the third day in a row I went down here trying to jig up some crappies. I also took an extra rod for bait and lures. I want to try somewhere else, but I also know the fish are here. I was also tired and had a hard time even talking right today. Like the previous two days the crappie fishing was bad. Unlike the previous two days the jigs caught nothing, so when it got dark I took my favorite $6 Wal Mart junk lure and started casting it where the water comes out of the dam. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't expecting some fish, but I didn't think they would be this big. I made sure to come unprepared again with only a tiny net. It was good enough though.
