2011 Skoda Octavia accelerating from 50 to 170 km/h on flat road starting in second gear. The car is fitted with 225/45/17 tires and it has a stage 1 remap at Revo developing around 145 hp and 240 Nm on premium gasoline. The gearbox is a six speed manual one.

2002 Mercedes Benz W211 generation E320 model with a 3.2 litres naturally aspirated V6 engine doing a 0 - 200 acceleration. This car is rear wheel drive only and has a 5g-tronic gearbox. The car is in a full restore process, full body paint has been done and it will undergo a full interior leather replacement. I'll post a short video once the project is completed.

Its an 3.0L V6 which is NOT naturally aspirated, it does have turbo
That is the diesel version. The petrol one is a 3.2 litre V6 naturally aspirated engine. :)

@@alex2005tsr I'm sorry, but you are very wrong. First of all, this is not a diesel (you can easily hear it's the gasoline engine and the diesel rpm counter only goes up to 5k rpm, not 7k like in this video). Secondly, the diesel V6 came in 2007, from 2002-2006 they had an inline 6 3.2L. Would also like to add that no newer Mercedes diesels (2000s+) are naturally aspirated; they all have turbos.
@@MMKnight_1 where have I said that the one in the video is a diesel? I said that the 3.0 V6 with 224 hp, mentioned in the initial comment is a diesel. The one in the video is the 3.2 V6 naturally aspirated petrol one. :)

It's my first time making a comment. One thing I want you to tell me is, do you feel like the DSG clutch slides after ECU tuning? I'm thinking of Stage 1 of the racing line with a 190ps engine

hi, will there be a motor problem in the future?
I had no problems until now, after more than one year since the chip tuning. I do not know what will be in the future, stage 1 should be the safest option for tuning.
There is a guy on RUclips with a Passat B8 with the same engine 635000 km, tuned at 100000 km. It runs without any problems as a highway daily driver

Nice run. I have superb 150cp DFGA engine - DQ381 and i was thinking at stage 1, but it has almost 200k mileage, and I m worried a little bit about the damage that can be done in the future. Any thoughts?
If everything works on the car, why not? Go to a tuning company or to more than one, ask their opinion about reliabilty.

had the same engine+dsg in a passat 2018 and tuned it at almost 185.000 km. i replaced the cylinder head gasket at 220.000km. just a small leak
This is quite similar to my F5 A5 with the same engine/manual gearbox (no Quattro)... Dyno showed 228 HP/488 Nm I tried a tuned Arteon, Superb with 190 PS engine, both are quite fast, pretty much 3.0 TDI levels of performance, however, A5 drives much better
In terms of performance mine is close to a 3.0 tdi SUV with less than 300 hp (x5, gle, q7, q8) and with a 2.0 petrol smaller SUV (x3, glc, q5). I timed it using dragy, 6.8 sec from 0-100 km/h and 14.7 sec on quarter mile were the best I got from the car. DSG6 is a bit of a show stopper in my case, it would have been a bit faster with DSG7. The manual has the same ratio as the DSG6, but the main benefit of the manual is that it is not limited in torque in lower gears.
@@alex2005tsr Yeah, you can go crazy in first three gears with a manual. I also have Dragy, but I didn't test anyhing yet, 'cause I'm waiting to put 11 kg 19'' wheels and brand new 255/35 R19 tyres, then I'll benchmark the fuck out of it :)
@@alex2005tsrthis is very slow, like 320d f31 stock acceleration. The vw’s suck, the head has shit design and doesnt allow for good flow through the valves

Do you love the car man ? I’m thinking of getting myself a dad car , it’s either bmw x40i , a Jeep trail hawk , or Porsche Cayenne coupe just can’t make my mind up
Jeep Trailhawk is smaller than the X4, if you are talking about the Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with the naturally aspirated 3.2 V6 engine. If you meant to say trackhawk, that is a different "animal" in terms of engine. I'd sure go for it. :) The Cayenne Coupe is in a different league in terms of luxury, size and price, if you have the money go for the GT one. The X4 M40i is a nice daily driver, more affordable and you'll definetely enjoy it. Go drive all of them if you can, it will make your choice a lot easier. :)

No, this has the B58 engine, the X4M has the S58 engine. There is a big difference between them, about 150 hp, 150 Nm and a lot of the engine parts are different. The X4M is more track oriented, engine, brakes, chasis, the M40i is for street usage mainly.
4.6s to 100 kmh / 16.5s to 200kmh
I guess it's about 18 seconds to 200 km/h if you use some tool to measure, like dragy or racebox.
@@alex2005tsr correct, it will be a bit lower with a GSP measuring device. Also nice to see the power curve of the engine, once it launches it never drops below 300 hp through the entire acceleration, when it up-shifts it drops to 300 but quickly climbs back to 360 (max hp)
Quite nice acceleration. I have b8 190ps manual gearbox without 4motion and was thinking about stage1. The tuner said it will have around 220 hp and 450 N.
With the manual gearbox it might go for more than 450Nm. After 4 months since I have it with stage 1, I had no problems whatsoever, and the fuel economy is about the same.
@@alex2005tsr Nah thats a standard tuning file. A custom remap can do 230-240hp with 480-500nm.
@@ThenameisOskar i wouldn't like it to go above 450 as the clutch may have some difficulties with that torque.

@@ThenameisOskar after all I haven't decided to make a remap, but after a year I'm considering to do it now. The tune guy said 230 HP and 450 torque for like 270 USD/230 GBP. Is it worth that price ?
How much hp and nm? 0-100km/h GPS would be about 6.8 seconds. Not bad at all. Despite the fact its a 1700kg car with 4Motion, it still performs impressive. I have the same car with the 2.0 TDI 150ps engine and manual gearbox. Basically the lighest version. Its about 1500kg and its running at 200hp 450nm. The performance is similar to your Passat. Unfortunately the turbo of my engine is quite small. It peaks at 3600 rpm, pushing it further than 4000 rpm is pointless. If the turbo ever dies, I'll replace it with a Golf 7 GTD turbo. It should be able to do 220ps 480nm then.
220 hp and 480 Nm is what the tuner claims. I have not put the car on a dyno, so not sure if those figures are correct. I can't say that it is a fast car, but it feels a bit faster then it was before stage 1.
@@alex2005tsr That sounds about right. You can push these to 235-240ps 500nm, depending on the state of the DPF, but it will get hot a bit quicker. At high speeds it will just cut the fuel to keep it safe.
@@ThenameisOskar This is not a racing car, so my intention was to make it faster but keep it safe on the long rung. The car has only 35k km, so everything is in good shape. The gearbox is a DQ250 and I don't think it can handle 500 Nm of torque. My guess is that now it's doing somewhere around 210 hp and 450 Nm. The issue is the gearbox, having only 6 longer gears makes it slower, but for now it accelerates like a C220 CDI or a 320d. I am pleased of how the car feels after stage 1, and I had no issues so far, no clutch slipping. :)
@@alex2005tsr Its an Autobahn cruiser. :) Dont worry about the DQ250. It can handle 550-600nm with a TCU tune. I think it has atleast 220ps, maybe close to 230ps. Mine is a 2.0 TDI 150ps FWD manual gearbox. Mine has 200ps 450nm and is as quick or maybe a little bit quicker. My Passat is 100-150kg lighter though. A stock Bmw 320d 184ps or a C220 CDI is a joke compared to my remapped 2.0 TDI 150ps. When you remap them, they are slightly quicker than me. You are right about the gearbox. The gears are long. A manual gearbox has even slightly longer gears. The 5th gear of my B8 is similar to the 6th gear of my previous 2006 Passat B6 2.0 TDI 140hp.
@@alex2005tsr DQ250 can take 580-600 Nm with higher clutch pressure (19Nm) without problem, I have the same in my Cupra. But the DQ350 in my Passat is better for fuel efficiency and it can handle 600 Nm too.

GPS 0-60(using an OBD2 reader and Torque app on my Nexus 7 to read the data) measured my '06 1.25 mk6 Fiesta Style, totally standard, clocked it at 14.3seconds this evening. Speedo inaccuracy showed as about 65mph, it looked almost the same as your time. So to answer someones question, there's little, if none, to gain from air filter/exhaust.
my dad has the 1.2 TSI Jetta 6 speed manual. It feels slower than mine. The 1.2 TSI engine is an 8 valve engine, while the 1.4 is an 16 valve engine. If you are interested in performance go for the 1.4, if you want better fuel economy the 1.2 is the right choice. for the Yeti I'd personally go for the 1.4. :)

@alex2005tsr eu am si chipuire pe acest motor 1,6 tot Octavia 2 by UPSOLUTE Austria,filtru K&N si bujii racing Bosch competition... Si crede-ma ca este o MARE diferenta fata de cum demara inainte de chipuire...chiar nu mi-a venit sa cred ca motorasul asta poate merge asa daca umbli putin la el,este ADEVARAT ca toata afacerea cu tot cu montaj m-a ajuns la 2400 RON, DAR a meritat fiecare leut!

@shinraninja If you are doing an engine swap put the 2 litre st engine in, ou will also need st geaarbox. But if you have this 1.25 or 1.4 or 1.6 an "57 i k and n induction" added on my 1.25 induction kit 8bhp. So i now have 82, i also have an average of 2 more mpg and I can definatel tell the difference in power compare to normal 75bhp, and a good noise after 3000rpm so there isent a defaning noise all the time like an exhaust best of both worlds. ive got a 1.25 16v zetec im wondering what benefit it is to get one of these cars to go like that over getting a higher engine car like 2L or 1.8L ? as i dont have a clue about cars anyway but doesnt a bigger engine mean faster car ? so a modded bigger engine car would show more benefit - either way modding that car wouldnt the fuel consumption go like a rocket too?
