I have this car. The bottom part of the back seat folds forward. Then you can fold the back seats flat.

On my focus MK1 xD i remove too but its bad idea for me because can opening this, first step:push to forward front chair and close down, second step:open back sofa without remove sofa, and need to 100cmx50cmx1cm desk for flat surface xD sorry for my little eng hehehe

Me again. Just a thought. That potty tent, like most tents, is basically see-thru. Maybe hang a tarp or blanket around it for privacy. Tho you probably have by now. How are you doing now here in March 2022? I hope you are safe and well!

The seats fold flat…

Instead of dismantling the seat , they're usually on a hinge that folds way forward. Just reach under the back of the seats , pull up and that should do the trick !

I made my 2019 Focus a rolling bed also, not yet went camping but planning to. I removed the whole rear seats and it gives plenty of space. I can flip up the trunk cover 45 degrees up to work as the perfect rear window blockage. Always appreciate videos like this to get new ideas to improve

Great idea! With my focus being a bit smaller, I had an Ah ha moment I'd like your thoughts on. I'm thinking about getting a screened in pop up and pulling in to it. Have you ever thought about how that would work? I could back into one side and still have room fo.r the chair and a table for my stove. I'm getting things as I can.

Genius to turn your head rest around to take care of the gap!

You know you dont have to take the bottom seat off,, in the ford focus you can just stick your hand through the back of the bottom seat and pull hard up .... the bottom seat opens up like a door and you can just lay the seats down flat .

I have it, you just didn't understand how to set it up. It works very well and it's easy to set up and take down.

This is genius. So simple and you know... I actually have a tarp and a beach tent like yours. You’ve just made this car camper very happy. In the past I’ve had to erect a tailgate tent which was fine for myself and my grandkids, but when there’s only myself to worry about, this set up is absolutely perfect. Thank you for sharing. 🚘 ⛺️🔥🧡
