I had the privilege of meeting both of these talented and blessed individuals when I was only 11 years old at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville Tennessee. Thank you for that experience in my life . Most importantly the Memories. Peace and Country REAL LAUGHTER.

Minnie Pearl was the embodiment of Southern charm and warmth. As a fellow native of the Volunteer State I will always love and adore this daughter of Tennessee and miss her dearly. She truly was one of a kind, often imitated but never duplicated. RIP Minnie.

I do like when Roy Clark sings Rocky Top, and his singing is top-notch here, but the music is a bit over-produced and overdone.

This vid showcases exactly what was wrong with country music in the 70s and 80s. Overblown, overproduced, unlistenable. Roy Clark had immense talent, but you wouldn't know it from this. Pure cringe.
