SHOOT BUTTS ON CHARGERS it takes like 3 wasp rockets to bleedout a charger from behind just wait till the finish charging and hit them in the back it is an EXPLOSIVE weapon so it does full damage to durable bits like charger buts, spewer sacks and titan stomachs
I recommend using the wasp launcher to at least destroy the top cannon of factory striders.

@ yeah thankfully you can lock onto it separately. I wish you could do the same for the chin miniguns. I think it makes sense if the weapon could only disarm it, taking too much effort to fully kill the strider.
The breakpoints on most enemies is actually mostly dependent on where the W.A.S.P rockets hit the target. e.g.: A single W.A.S.P rocket can kill a hulk if it hits it in the face, the W.A.S.P is really good against the Harvesters if you can hit the leg joints with it, only taking 4-5 shots and tanks and bunker turrets... well, they only take 2 rockets if you hit them on the side of the turret. All in all, it is extremely effective but you'll have to try and position yourself to make the rockets hit precicely where they need to.
@@skele_hd5628 yeah it's hard to do but you are right positioning is everything with this weapon! Though if you have tips for aiming for weak spots with this weapon that worked for you please let us know! 🙏
on Automatons, the WASP is what i call the "devastator deleter". one rocket will kill any of them unless it hits the shield of a heavy

I’m happy that you’re not calling the Gustav a rocket launcher like almost everyone else, it fires shells (big bullets) & not rockets 😁 However, you’re not using different ammo types, just switching modes on the same shells (that is what programmable ammo is) =3
@@Rashed1255 haha ty, yeah programmable ammo was a great update for helldiver's 2, really adds a much needed depth to the game.
@ yea “programmable ammo” became a buzzword in the Helldivers community, though I kinda hate that most Helldivers use swapping ammo & programmable ammo synonymously while giving it an emphasis, I barely heard it before even when it’s the subject. The Halt shotgun is switching ammo (2 mags) while most other weapons have programmable ammo (changing function without swapping ammo).
I did not know The WASP could take out bug holes! I was solely using this weapon to bully Automatons on large open maps, but now I might bring it to the bug front.
@@WrenchViewing yes! It's extremely useful too being able to knock those big holes outside the big nest range or from close quarters! Quality stratagem right?!?!
I love the WASP, I think my teammates were getting bored because I kept killing enemies before they ever had a chance to engage. I do wish you could use one missle for artillery mode or choose how many to use when you have a full magazine.
@@TheLongWind yeah I can agree, definitely is a very powerful tool in the arsenal, I mean in a way you can by switching the weapon into artillery with less than 7 rockets but yeah I love the wasp as well... Crazy good, crazy fun
I treat this weapon more like the auto cannon. Mostly use it to one-shot medium enemies with ease.

Last time i used WASP is when i killed entire squad because somehow the rockets exploded inside our car. Around 5 days ago.

One hit to the engines of both gunships from a multi shot style projectile is also enough to kill

@twiltzofficialgaming it can be tricky. But having open space makes it easier. There's actually a clip of shooting one around a corner, it's pretty cool

Redeemer as a side amr is goat for breaking shields before engaging your support weapon. In this case a single sidearm clip can save you an entire canister of wasp ammo.

The wasp can’t onetap annihilator tanks from the front - you hit the vent weakspots
@@Qwerty-jl2yw I tested it a couple times but you may be right 👍 maybe my shots got lucky and always hit weak spots. It is nice having the annihilator tank have such a large vent 🤌

Im confused, don't annhilator tanks have more armor and health than shredders and barragers?
@@Strav24 I also thought the same thing, maybe it's a bit of a glitch or weird interaction or maybe the larger weak point on the annihilator is easier for the wasp rockets to hit randomly, but for the most part shredders and barrages took an extra wasp swarm to kill, though I will admit, I was able to one shot shredders with the artillery fire mode from time to time, but it wasn't consistent..
@@twiltzofficialgaming huh, barragers got nerfed to hell you can kill them with a single mag from most primaries from the front now. I wonder if shredders depend on if any hit the front shield or the gap in the middle
@@Strav24 huh that's interesting... I didn't realize barrages were nerfed so hard... They used to be an absolute unit on launch... And there is a weak spot on the shredder front plate you can damage it from.. I found it a while back it's in one of my old videos give me a sec.. Hmm I didn't find the clip I was looking for but if my memory serves me right there should be a weak spot located a little above halfway up the faceplates of shredders..
If you swarm a dropship it usually kill everything it's carrying.
@@jesuispepelepew7574 good call! Yes it definitely does, though may be useful to hit them on the ground with a couple rockets rather than the whole swarm if time and situation calls for it! Good call though you are 100% correct!
Great primer. I didn't realize that it locks onto bug holes! One thing I've noted is that, as far as the numbers of rockets necessary to kill an enemy, positioning does matter a lot. For example, I've killed shredder tanks with just 3 or 4 rockets, if firing when the turret is facing away from me. Ditto with Hulks. It's a bit of a crapshoot because it's difficult to tell where the rockets will hit whatever you're aiming at. But yeah, it's absolutely the best weapon in the game for flying enemies (other than dropships). When playing Illuminate defense missions, I always use it to pick off the flying overseers immediately, and then hit any overseers on the ground with anything I have left. Assuming you have a true anti-tank weapon on your squad to deal with Harvesters, this makes Illuminate defense missions (which can otherwise be extremely difficult) almost trivial. Wasp for the flyers, anti-tank emplacement for harvesters, and then flame and tesla turrets for the voteless hordes. Easy peasy.
@@aceg81 oh I agree my favorite was finding out i could rush bugholes with a wasp and clear 7 holes without needing to reload or stop moving.. really underated in that regard!! And yeah position is crucial I agree with you there it's a great point ☝️ especially since it has such long range like in the video I sniped the annihilator tank from close to 100meters no problem.. the wasp also synergizes well with a lot of different stratagems, for example I found it works great with eagle strafing run, and others commented using it with rocket pods!
this channel is mad underrated, it's probably one of the most helpful resources for helldivers 2 i've found as someone who's still a noob (still sticking to diff 6 when i play with randoms 😅). i'd love to have some tips for using the flamethrower

This thing is depressing to use. It misses so often and feels so so niche. I wish it were good
@@Criiies I can understand missing once or twice on a target but if you fire 2 rockets 1 of the 2 rockets always hits for me other than wired angles and occasionally bugholes from side view and not across... Do you usually burst fire 1 or 2 shots or are you using a lot more rockets?
Dont ever use it on close range or with obstacle around you will missed shot or sometime it will explode near you

I don't want to be mean, but you might not be as good as you think with the Wasp if it takes you more than 3 rockets for hulks and tanks, in fact, if you got someone to break the shield on a harvester, it only takes me about 2 to 4 rockets. So either you have really bad luck or I'm really lucky.
@@Sulferlines interesting 🤔 I've tried it many times and ofcourse there were times when I killed it faster than a couple full swarms it was not consistent so on average I finished it in probably 7-14 rockets.. as you say I definelty maybe missing something.. if you have any tips for guaranteeing a kill with lesser rockets please let us know :)
@twiltzofficialgaming Well, the best tip I can give is regarding the different tanks. Shredder, Annihilator, and Barrage all have 2 different lock on spots, by default it would want to lock onto the body, thats bad, you want to raise the crosshair so it relocks on a slightly different spot, that would make the triangle appear right at the base of the turret, then it should only take between 2 to 3 rockets as the turret has its own HP pool and kills the whole thing instantly. With tower turrets its the same, I have no idea why it takes you more than 4 at worse, but with hulks its a little more difficult to explain, from personal experience the missiles want to aim for weak points so if you make sure the crosshair doesn't include "weak points" like the arms and legs then it will attempt to hit the face or the back.

@ Oh right, completely forgot something I found out, if you shoot more than one rocket at a time, each rocket is forced to lock onto a different body part so that they don't create a repeating path animation, meaning it will struggle to hit enemies with small weak points so its always better to shoot at most 2 at once and wait for each rocket to land.

this quickly became my most fav thing to bring against the squid, instantly kill any overseer it hits, and most importantly u don't need to aim for the pesky flying ones or the watchers. I usually bring iit along with the cookout for close range, the cookout can easily delete horde of votless while also stunlocks any overseer that comes too close for the wasp to hit. For strategems i bring either walking barrage or laser (depends on difficulty) for base clear, eagle air strike to take down shields, and the last slot is optional, i like to bring the puma for casual matches. Also, gas gren for horde and gren pistol for the tesla poles

I haven't used the gas grenades too much, I do enjoy bringing the LMGs for wave clear and kill potential but the wasp is so much better at clearing all squids other than the voteless, I'll have to try out some of ur equipment, though I agree grenade pistol has been my dedicated 2ndary since launch.
@@twiltzofficialgaming The gas is a great deterrent when a horde of voteless is rushing you down, and with the wasp you can still kill the overseers at the back of the horde even if you cannot see through the gas. I am bringing the pistol solely to kill the poles so you can make an argument for one of the melee weapons too. And because this loadout doesn't use any weapon with special traits like low ammo or high recoil, I can use a wide range of armor from more stims, more frags to arc resistance.

A plus for the stalkers, you can lock on them when they are invisible.
@@wakouf right?!? It's super nice! Though hard to do first try when those pesky bugs sneak up and assassinate you and your buddy before you realize your in stalker territory
I paired it with the eagle 110mm Rocket Pods and they go well together. Throw the rocket pod and then follow up with a full burst with the wasp 🤌

It's very good against Automatons, but I will stick with Grenade Launcher otherwise.
this weapon was a lord send saviour, but then i started to notice things... its way to inconsistent to my taste, much prefer the EAT or the MLS-4X Commando, no backpack, no aiming, no reloading, no gamble, and no missiles mising bcs they shoot how they want
I will be honest, this "thing", is a gamble launcher. Like, make it atleast target weak spots, instead of wasting a bullet on a heavy devs shield. It also sometimes likes to target the floor for no reason, or a wall, it can't even shoot at -20 meters. Sure I can get "used to it", which is literaly me not using it for 70% of the situations, which it is pretty bad ratio for a medium enemy weapon.
It's probably the absolute best "medium" support weapon there is. It's devastating when fighting bugs. Will one hit everything that isn't a "heavy" except the Alpha Brood Commander which takes two missiles. Can often one salvo chargers, just depends on direction. Will lock-on to Stalkers that are still camouflaged. It's great for finding a spore charger and letting a teammate with anti-tank support take it out. For bots it can one to two salvo cannon towers, treat devastators/berserkers like they're normal troopers, and will also one salvo the large cannon on the back of a factory strider. Gunships are a joke with it. I can sit at an objective while a teammate is 150m away being chased and just clear every medium unit behind them to give some breathing room. The anti-tank label is misleading and really shouldn't be there. I always run with friends who bring AT weapons so I'm free to run this and whatever sentry I want to mow down every small and medium enemy in our way.
If you are lucky and the cannon turret is pointing the other way, the rockets hit the weakspot and you only need 2-3 shots to destroy them!
i think this weapon would greately benefit from a rework on the lock-on mechanics. They work for the Spear just fine, since its one big missile that one shots pretty much everything it hits, but with the WASP targeting the center mass of targets isnt really the best since it dosent have the damage to consistently kill larger enemies. If you could "paint" where you want the missiles to hit the target, it would make it really easy to target weak points specifically, and get way more damage out of the weapon, and also improve ammo efficiency sicne you can be way more accurate with your shots
So you want to be abled to aim carefully to hit weakspots... isnt that just the autocannon, then? Not having to aim at all is kind of the point of the WASP.
@@matteoperrone-bx2rc it would be nice if you could prioritize weak spots with the WASP, but sadly I guess it's just not in the cards, 😞. I tried different methods of shooting to try and force my way into hitting weak spots but it's nearly impossible... For those tanky enemies you are better off just using heavy artillery and stratagems to clear them..
@@2MeterLP auto cannon is very good! But yeah I like the relaxing process of spamming heat seeking missiles into unsuspecting targets.. nothing says democracy like guided explosives!

I kinda thought this thing was hot garbage. Maybe I will give it another shake with the reload cancel. Reloading without it takes forever….
@@PotatoWhyKid it does, and don't forget it does "save" the reload so you can resume any time.. I would suggest this weapon is pretty bad close range, better at very long distances or at medium range, but yes reload cancel is so strong! Lmk what you think when you try it again PotatoWhyKid!! #keepusupdated

@@PsyhoBelka haha what do you mean? It's very variable so much so that I was using it as a secondary weapon running around the map clearing small bug hordes and swapping to primary assault rifle for close quarters, what issues do you have with it?
Never use Artillery mode, it does no damage. It's pitifully underpowered against all units.
@@Demonamic777 except spore blooms/shrieker nests and (possible shredder tanks) but yes you are correct artillery mode is not useful in a general sense!!
don’t let that anti tank label fool you, this thing is best used to quickly drop medium sized enemies like devastators and overseers. It CAN help deal with heavies but it really doesn’t shine there, and despite what intuition might tell you the artillery mode is far worse for big targets, and really shouldn’t be used except for the nests and spore towers
@@Venalii1 yeah it's unfortunate that the artillery mode is basically useless against tank class enemies with a few outliers here and there.. though I will say against hulks the burst fire mode can be pretty effective from time to time, especially if you get them to turn their backs 👌.. I would say it would be better to use the burst mode for clearing bugholes though, saves ammo and reload time while clearing more bugholes!
I hear that if you get the technique right you can get the rockets to curve around a Hulk and hit the heat sink even from the front.
@@Just_A_Simple_Time_Traveller you can also get a lucky headshot, either way it’s inconsistent so you’re better off just launching a volley and praying for the best if you don’t have other options
@Just_A_Simple_Time_Traveller oh that's some high skill level work right there, I just spam the rockets hoping for an precision eye shot which does happen more often than you might think! Another method I was using was to bring the strafing run to start the fight from out of range, then the automatons will turn towards the end of the strafing run shots (hopefully away from you) which will allow you to get an easy backshot in.. was pretty decent strat and with like 7 casts of the strafing run I think it worked out pretty well, just make sure you are out of range of automaton scanners before throwing the eagle strafing run... Or any explosion for that matter..
They should change Anti Tank to Heavy Pen and Anti Air. This thing is a pocket sam site that trivializes Hunter Killer gunships
Is it a possibility that you can one clip or less with a bile titan after a Orbital rail cannon as it would remove a shell on its back. and seeing the rockets hit at the top back there could be a chance. but its too waste full
@@bathin7941 good questions! Though to be honest I've ran the railcannon a couple times and it 1 shots bile titans every time for me, haven't recently had the chance to even finish the job, maybe the orbital rail cannon got secretly buffed recently? May be worth testing with rocket pods though?
@@twiltzofficialgamingthe Railcannon got buffed back during the 60 days update to be able to one shot bile titans, the devs even mentioned it in the first video about it.

The WASP artillery mode is also good for bot patrols. No it won't eliminate the whole patrol but it will eliminate the escorting troopers and commissar. The ones who shoot their reinforcement flares.
@@johndane9754 It tis known! Though for the most part I feel that shooting single fire rockets at the troops usually gives a similar effect but saves you 3-4 rockets in the long run.. but you are 100% right against patrols the artillery mode is very good 👍

I'm also enjoying the artillery mode for use on bug patrols, it's a quick and easy way to eliminate the vast majority of chaff bugs there so they can't call a bug breach
@@that_fluff yeah tis a good call! I love the long range capability of this weapon too. So nice to snipe targets with an explosive lock on weapon!! Bugs never stood a chance 💪
pro tip: keep the aim circle lower or higher possible help the rokets curve
@@ModulusOrbis hmmm interesting, are you saying that pointing the aim circle up or down effects the way the rockets come out of the weapon barrel? Do you know if it effects the left or right rocket angles?
yes probably is minimal but keep the weapon as high or low as possible(as well for right and left but honestly it have way less utility than up and down) help in some situation where for example, you have many man heigh rocks on the way of target, and keep the circle upper possible from the triangle can help to avoid some man tall rocks. is probably a little help but hit with 1 or two rockets more in some situation can help. about side shoots, it cant be controlled is forced by the weapon way of shoot i belive

@twiltzofficialgaming I'm still pretty new to the game, started about 2 months ago, so any tips are super helpful. I pretty much only use the HMG & supply pack, so videos on other support weapons would be great. The orbital and eagle breakdowns are great as well.
@nathanwilliams3877 oh welcome to helldiver's friend! I would say the best advice would be knowledge of weak points... For example the EAT support weapon is very good early game being able to 1 shot all bug enemies (maybe not impaler but I think it can) with 1 headshot.. machine gun supply backpack is a great combo for all enemies as long as you are using heavy machine gun, some minor info would be those alpha commanders can be killed by decapitation, but when you do that they can still attack AND they have a speed boost for a couple seconds, ive died by them a lot, if you instead shoot off one of their legs and then decapitate or full kill they will not have that last stand animation... This was just one of many cool details you'll learn as you play the game, but make sure you vary your kit and finish warbonds so you can keep the game fresh and new.. that would be my advice :)
