Amazing as usual for PM. The scene is slightly reminiscent of Sebastian’s apartment in the original “Blade Runner”.

Speak like a child with Kuru with same trio of "Standards zone" is a beauty ; Invitation follow very well / Charlie Parker stay Jaco's appropriation /Marvellous slang (Blackbird/Continuum/Portrait of Tracy and improvisation) /John and Mary is better than WOM /Zawinul tune : amazing and the final M.Davis/Chords 13 (Teen town) what a drums solo follow by a great bass solo

Why don't the BBC bother syncing the stereo tape that went out on the radio with the picture. Yes it does go out of sync but it's so easy to keep it in sync. I offered to do it for the BBC once for all these shows but they only have professionals at the BBC. I've done two syncs myself where I've found the footage and then found the BBC Radio FM recording of it. Nena sounds excellent. I've also done the 1000 Edition of Top Of The Pops from 05/05/1983. This was a one off until 1988.

Imagine waking to this tune at 6am on a Saturday morning at full blast! 😳🤣 That was my childhood. And I loved it. My dad knew Stix, Joe, Wayne and Wilt - and he wanted the world to hear their music. So happy that Stix is still with us.❤

Saw this performed at UC Berkeley. Totally blown away! It started with Pat on stage with a small mechanical contraption with him on a stool and a acoustic guitar. Then the curtain raised and the whole stage was filled with this huge orchestrion! Absolutely mesmerizing 😀!

In a lot ways he did what Parker, Coleman and Coltrain did. Music that is not “acid” ….but trip on it. I hear to how he influenced others…for instance mid-period Porcupine Tree….
