I think the Combi Bake function is probably better for things like cakes 🤔 Either way, I LOVE my Combi! Hi! No, I never bought the Ninja Indoor Grill, so I can't really offer any comparisons. I will say, however, that the Combi doesn't have and surfaces with grill grates that will leave grill marks, so if that's your goal, you'll want to consider that. I absolutely LOVE my Combi, though 😍

Hi there! I'm not sure if you can safely use glass on the pan in the Combi, but it may be ok if it is pressure rated or oven safe. I would check the safety manual or contact Ninja directly, just to be safe. My apologies, but I don't understand what you mean by "spare the rice and vegetables"? Or perhaps did you mean to "separate" the rice and vegetables, if so, I can say that you can safely use a silicone baking dish to separate the carb/grain/base from the vegetable in the Combi Pan. I hope this helps! 😊

Have you tried riced cauliflower? I've had it turn out both delicious and 'meh (lol), but I've never tried it in the Combi. Honestly, this chicken tastes DELICIOUS and would be great atop a bed of salad greens, too!

I believe those red trivets came from either Marshall's or Ross, but I bought them over 10 years ago, so I can't be sure. I think they're by OXO, so you can probably find them at a lot of places, like Amazon.

Yes, you definitely can make potatoes in the Combi 😊. Baked, steamed, mashed, creamed; LOTS of variety! 😃

Thank you so much! 🥰Welp, the tzatziki sauce was a bit lackluster, lol. I had to add some garlic and onion powders and a little garlic salt to bring it to a flavor that I liked, but it added great "sauciness" as a topping over the steak with quinoa! I'm the opposite, my Combi is most often used on the Combi Cooker side, lol, but I HAVE made some GREAT sweet potato fries, "grilled" cheese sandwiches, and bagel pizzas (the kids made those) on the air fry side! I've gotta start using that side more, too.

Actually, YES! My BOYS (3 oldest kids) made spaghetti & meatballs in it last month and it was a HIT! 😃 I seasoned it for them, but they added all of the ingredients and set the temperature and time themselves 😊. To level 1, they added the spaghetti noodles with spaghetti sauce and water (we added cheese after it was done cooking), and to level 2, they added the meatballs. Afterwards, we sliced the meatballs in half and added them to the Combi tray with the noodles, then stirred in the cheese. It was good and quick! I've never made spaghetti and meatballs so effortlessly before, and NOW my kids can do it! 😁

@skyetries Thanks for the response. I'm looking to replace my Galanz air fryer microwave combo that has stopped working. I cook the majority of my own food on the road and am definitely interested in this appliance. I think this will be perfect for me, but i want to know, does it get very hot around the unit? During the summer, i have to be mindful of the heat i produce inside my truck as my primary objective is to stay cool, 😆

The surrounding area doesn't get very hot, but it does let out a lot of steam from the vent on top.

Sazón is a seasoning; the yellow top one by Badia is the one I use. It's kinda like a seasoned salt with ingredients like MSG, salt, saffron, and spices. Whatever you make, I hope it's DELICIOUS! Let me know what you think of the Sazón if you try it ☺️

Salon is a Caribbean seasoning that is in the international aisle of your supermarket. It is used for rice,soups and seasoning meat,fish and vegetables.

Really?! Oh no!!! I can't claim to know what is going wrong because my rice has [fortunately] come out just right each time, but let's try to troubleshoot so you can realize the same success! 🙂 1) Try using 2 [dry measure] cups of rice with 4 [liquid measure] cups of water and a drizzle of oil (it matters if you use dry vs. liquid measuring cups, just in case you weren't sure), 2) Once you've added the water to the rice, be sure to give it a nice stir to get it all incorporated, 3) Whichever protein you choose, be sure to cook it on the recommended temperature for that protein (ex. 390 degrees for chicken [frozen or non-frozen]) and cook it on the LOWEST time selected (you can always add more time later, I've had to do this before). I hope these things end up helping you! Please let me know :)

@skyetries that's exactly how I have been doing it, but I figured out to use rice setting first without protein, combi meal next with protein until finished, and then air fry for 5 minutes without protein and the rice comes out almost right. I'm Puerto Rican and we like our rice dry

I just got mine from AliExpress. 115 plus tax. No delivery. I think it was 7 day delivery. Best Buy by far. The speedi is an older version of the combi so I think they are trying to get rid of excess inventory now
