A magazine channel by Stevyn Colgan - writer, artist, folklorist, former QI 'Elf', proud Cornishman and committee member of the Eccentric Club of Great Britain (est. 1781). You can expect arts projects, weird creations, wanderings through the British countryside, folk culture and quite a lot of country lore and foraging thrown in. Oh, and occsional interruptions from Harris the Pug. Let's make the internet nice - and a little bit silly - again.

I had some good meetings this week. The first was in London with two lads from Aimed Media - a new TV production company. They're looking to pitch a TV documentary about the rise of interest in modern paganism in the UK and worldwide. I was happy to share my knowledge with them and, who knows, if they get the commission you may get to see me on your big screens.

I live in Johannesburg in South Africa and we have enormous flocks of green parakeets that have appeared in the last few years. Not sure if they’re the same as the ones in London but they are very similar at least. They certainly make just as much of a racket.
Really good to hear that you’re doing better, and best wishes to your mam, hope she gets well soon. I can sympathise with dogs disappearing the hedges though. My two are collies at least so will come back eventually, but if they found a stream to play in, it’s definitely a hard ask. Pob lwc for the Solstice planning as well!
