Hi, I'm Zach Gallardo, and I'm a full-time RUclipsr. This is my second channel where we talk about the good, the bad, the ugly of entrepreneurship; the pros, cons, and cringe of travel and minimalism; and the downs and ups of this brakeless ride called life. I'm not a guru, just a dude with some things to say.

Instagram is an incredibly useful tool for connecting with people and making content that inspires. But it's also a bottomless time sink that'll steal untold amounts of your life and prevent you from doing what's truly important in your life. I quit Instagram for the past 180 days, 6 months, and I don't intend on ever going back. Here's what I learned from quitting Instagram.
How I Spend Only 20 Minutes A Day On My Phone

I used to spend 1.5 hours per day on my phone which is 3 non-stop years of my life. The time I spend on my phone is mostly useless, so I've taken seven steps to decrease my screen time down to 15-30 minutes per day. I figured time is all we have in life, so I better make good use of it. 0:00 - This phone math will scare you 2:29 - I spend less than 30 minutes per day on my phone 3:51 - 1. Use a...

Why I Listen to Vinyl Records Instead of Streaming Music as a Minimalist
Просмотров 3,1 тыс.7 месяцев назад
I never thought I'd become the vinyl guy. It's expensive, impractical, fragile, requires lots of space, and extremely not minimalist on the surface. But after listening almost exclusively to vinyl records for the past three months and ditching my Spotify subscription, for what vinyl records lack in convenience, they more than make up for in quality. I no longer stream music, and I don't miss it...

This Brakeless Ride Called Life | Channel Trailer
I am not going to lie; I bought the bed, and I've had it for 3 months now. As a side sleeper, getting used to it has been a challenge. I don't know if the futon is for me, but I really hope I can adjust for the disciplinary benefits.
I miss my futon. Sadly, my partner and I both have physical disabilities, so we need a bed that we can get out of with minimal effort.
If you live in a mobile home make sure to keep the mattress off the ground so it doesn't get moldy.
I slept on a futon on the floor for like 5 years. I can say it's a varied experience - I did it because i generally did sleep better on the floor but eventually our preferences do change - so i went back to a mattress which honestly was odd at first. This just goes to prove the human body is amazing and everyone's need are different and that we all can adapt to just about anything when we try to. I recommend trying new things out and see if you like sleeping on something firm like the floor or if you just need a firmer bed. It was a fun experience to do for 5 years lol. I think the most odd part about it was not having a bed to jump onto or when you have friends over - they get mad confused as to where to sit.
3:47 what about rkelly
You got this locally? 👀 I don't wanna get one on Amazon but there IS a proper futon store in San Jose. Futons are great.
how is this not just a mattress on the floor
Glad you're with us Zach 💪🚲
Yeah, when you use your bed as a couch it's definitely cleaner😂
Thanks a lot for this vid brother
Amazing Zach❤ Love it. Thanks for sharing 🙏
Who cares what others think, say, or do. I love being me.🙏🏼
Goodmorning and first comment. Thanks for another video.
Nice apartment but, dude, minimalism is when you have bare floorboards, a Wabi, and a teaspoon.
Wait till you discover sleeping on hard wood💪🏼
More spiders more roaches. No thanks
Your link is broken it takes me to a vitamin d page. could you tell me name and make of that futon please, much obliged!
After a year of going back and forth on buying one of these, i pulled the trigger last week. It should be in on friday. My memory foam mattress was causing me SO much pain.
YOU HAVE A GIRLFRIEND ?
i have terrible knees so it’s really difficult for me to get up from the floor, otherwise i’d do this
How do you not sink into yours? I just bought the queen size version and I def sink into it. :(
Where are those sweapants from
D&D Furniture is not an actual American business (not even local like Amazon lists it as). It's a distributor, the address on Google Maps is a warehouse. Their products are obviously made in China. But their mattress does look ok and is pretty cheap.
What is that last song
I didn't buy it to resell, I bought it kislux to own and wear. And to be honest, they look so similar, I'd rather buy a fake kislux .
Hell yeah man, I got married at 23 and moved across the world to live in the Netherlands with my wife from the USA, and we are permanently setting down roots together here and have made incredible friends by being really intentional on who we want to surround ourselves with and putting effort into maintaining long term friendships and finding the right place for my wife and I to long term buy a house and be happy growing old together.
One word that comes to mind : simp. MGTOW for life.
I sleep on the couch so imagine the hell I go through, I get neck pain a lot
3:20 Dang, he called people not close friends and then put a picture of them in case they were wondering who he was talking about.
I tried one of these as well. It did not hold up to my memory foam mattress. Not by a long shot. I would have enjoyed it in college had I had it then.
I bought a kislux red mini Chanel bag, wish I had more Chanel bags, but considering my budget it's cool to have one bag
Okay the real question is: does Chloe feel one with the bike now?
sponsored by wabi cycles❤️🔥
your videos do improve my life 💯 a few minutes at a time 🙏
Hi Zach! 😎🇹🇼🇹🇼‼️
Awww another video. Time to have some Tea and a side of Pizza. 🍵🍕
Do you have tinnitus yet ??
Bro link the sweat pants plz lol
As someone who has banged in the floor is this any good
add tip buckwheat pillows
So how does getting that you know what feel on the bed like that?
The moisture is not coming from underneath, it's coming from the heat and moisture of your own body. That's why the Japanese use a padded tatami mat underneath 😊😊
Much of my day is spent wearing work boots. Big, heavy, leather work boots. It's a chore just to put them on and take them off, if I'm gonna be in and out of the house pretty frequently it's not worth the hassle.
basically you slept in your ancesteral bed and felt good . okay gotcha 🫥
Doctors hate this trick. You'll see the results in 30 years, when you walk around with a round back like all elderly japanese people do (for a good reason).
Can you source that?
The link you posted in the description is over $600 now 🤯
Nah ill keep my bed that keeps me cool or warm depending on what I set it too
Short answer: More energy and less back pain
Hipster minimalist
I slept on something similar to this in my early twenties when I had a studio apartment. It's still the most comfortable bed I've ever been in.
