Thanks for the comment! I know this probably doesn't mean much, but I actually did arrange them all the way I wanted it in my files and it took a really long time but Tier List maker just randomized them once I added them in the template and I was just way too busy that day and had promised the video to be released so I took a shot with what I had. I also had the whole ranking next to me but it's just such a subjective list I could barely agree with myself. Anyway, that probably doesn't mean much, but I just wanted you to know I wasn't like actively trying to make it bad, haha. I realize this isn't my best video by any means, it's honestly one of my least favorites, but I gave the video all the time I had in my life for it.

Thanks though for the feedback, I am just as frustrated with the result as you. I'll likely revisit this one some day and take down this video because it is one of my most underbaked. I have 18 credits at BYU (which is a pretty hard university, just behind like the Ivy Leagues and such) and a full-time writing job, so I really only can give what I can give for these videos sometimes 😅 Anyway, you've definitely inspired me to remake this one ASAP.

I know, I wish I had the time and resources for that :( I'm a really busy college student (taking 18 credits and have a full-time writing job) so I barely get to make these in the first place. I wish just as much as you that I could do that, sorry man

Is it a gate? Or noise suppression? It could be that when your dialogue audio gets below a level threshold, a gate with more aggressive settings is cutting off some of your words. Not saying that’s def the culprit, but lowering a gate threshold or decreasing the amount of noise suppression may recover some of your dialogue.

@joshuamarshall4632 It must be something like that, I might just need to get a nee microphone, it's always too obnoxious with its gain or everything cuts out. I mean it's a high quality mic... Idk what's up

Well idk I have a hard time justifying placing a game with only two characters over ones with more haha. I wasn't really talking about compared to the series, but compared to RPGs in general.

@@nezkeys79 yesssss good pick, this is my man. Yup!! That's the best team in the game imo. I usually run that or (if I'm feeling quirky) I'll replace the Knight for a Thief. Yup perfect! Just make sure you put Knight in the first slot and Monk in the last slot and you'll be owning everything. Yeah! But it's pretty late in the game and MP is so easy to restore later in the game. Also the tonics are pretty expensive compared to just buying Ethers 😅 Also, each item can only be used once per turn, and the only ones really worth using are the White Robe (Invisira), the Giants Gloves (Saber), the Judgment Staff (Flare) and, if you buy the Sages Staff, you can do double damage with Holy, which is cool and makes it stronger than Flare.

@@nezkeys79 well Red Mage's are just so much better for the first half of the game and Thief's are so pointless. Ninjas are pretty good, but I'd never say they are even in the same league as the White Mage, Warrior, Monk, and Red Mage. Still far better than the Black Mage though. I only ever run Thief because it is a fun challenge, that's about it 😅

His name is honestly so epic, even though it is cringe. Don't get the hate. The breakdown is obnoxious, but I mean, I think a lot of the haters would act in a similar way if they were thrust into the same situation. Yes! Not only he is so good at damage, but he can tank and heal too, so that's pretty great! Meracle is good! Bacchus was really fun, I was kinda sad I couldn't just throw him in the top tier too, but I had to save some in the middle tiers. Fair enough about Laura Bailey lol. Idk, Reimi was a pretty cute character ngl. Honestly, I think I liked most of the characters in this game, I didn't think the voice acting was *that* bad. Sarah was honestly the worst one, but I kinda thought Lymle was hilarious and adorable haha. Maybe it's cuz she gives awkward little cousin energy like some of my little cousins, but I mean, whatever xD

It's a really fun game! It is actually the only Star Ocean game I've played so far (I played it first cuz my brother bought it for me and because it's the first chronologically), but I'm really excited to play the other ones eventually! I'm glad to hear it is your favorite! Most people kinda hate on it, but I thought it was a solid game so that's great! Sadly, I have no way of playing Star Ocean 5 haha so I'll probably have to do some crazy emulation crap for that one. I mean, most people tell me to skip it, but like, nah.

@@rpgranked hahahahaha, it's just that they go a lot through the cutscenes of Garnet's eidolons and her story and bla bla bla. Spoiler, even Amarant has much better support than her even though she isn't even a white mage. Also, her eidolons won't even do 9999 damage at the end of the game sometimes, while Amarant does it with MP attack or no mercy haha

Yeah... Great story, sure, but she's best for Auto-Regen during super long Summon animations. That's about the best she can do 🤣

Yeah her damage sucks lol and her support doesn't make up for it all.

@@rpgranked Am exaggeration, of course. But one of the beautiful things about XII is how you can perceive it from so many different standpoints. Some aren't big on the battle system while others love it. Every job and job combination is viable and everyone's got their own favorites. These points apply to the story and characters, too. A truly unsung FF game.
