    Thank you for your time/comparison! Presently, I have two CATS - a 302.7cr, 303.5cr - and am very disappointed with both. ...looking at both this Yanmar and Case (along with the Kubota). So, you have helped me a ton!!! Thank you : )

    Just to add; you could have driven home without the PTO engaged.. The loss of differential UTF would not have made a difference on the diff gears..

    The breakout force is not tested properly, in real life, the bottom of your bucket will be supported with dirt or something else, in your test you are biased by the friction of the machine on the ground and also the arm cylinder force.

    Get some forks. Works a lot easier. No getting off tractor or getting stuck. You don't have to lift so high. That is very dangerous to do.

    So where did you get the winch tow bar did it come with it

  • @johnwax9759
    @johnwax9759 Год назад

    First is to buy the snatch block. Much easier on the winch. Next, run the tractor and hook up jumper cables to help that battery! That winch is pulling hundreds of amps. Lastly, put some weight on the cable near the tractor too to prevent whipping around if it snaps.

    You have impressive skills with that old ford tractor. Can't beat those old industrial ford tractors compared to today's new imports that are at least $18,000 to 20k for a entry level machine.

    Not sure if it helps . But I had a huge forklift stock but I didn't burry it all the way. I stopped as soon as I knew I was stock. Grabbed my 9000 winch and hooked that up . I also bought wireless remote (60$) from harbor freight and as I was pulling with winch I was helping with forklift on low gear. Got it out in no time. Just so you imagine how big forklift was , another guy got it stock and couldn't pull it out with semi truck cuz wheels kept loosing traction and spinning. 100% recommend harbor freight winches. Had mine for about 2 years and it paid for itself on first job.

    If it’s getting hot already buy a warm yes expensive but my M15 can run steady pulling hard for several minutes and don’t forget to use a snatch block and double line your pull it’s safer easier on the motor and more powerful because you have less layers around the drum . Winches are rated with the cable wrapped around the drum on the first layer.

    My 4 wheel drive got stuck in the mud. My left door neighbor brought over his big 4 wheel drive tractor and he got stuck. We called a wrecker and he pulled us out with a winch. A winch is a must have even if you have a 4 wheel drive.
