It would be so much better to travel to these cities in spring or fall when trees turn green and lush and flowers bloom. The Great Wall looks quite dull in the winter. It is better to travel to South of China such as Shenzhen Guangzhou in winter, too hot there in summer

I was at one of those things when I was a kid and I've always wanted to be a cirque acrobat lol. Don't have the talent but I'm still doing gymnastics in my late 20s and will keep it going as far as I can still move. The magic is real.

Except ugly politics, as a Chinese we always admire beautiful western EU style houses. Quite incredible from our point of view. Long time ago, we got the image of western houses are relax, peaceful, enjoyable. A really good marketing if build those little EU style houses.

Been to London and other parts of UK a long time ago, a part of my long 3-mth Europe backpacking trip. So it's basically the good parts of England transplanted onto a region in Greater Shanghai, without the thrash and drunkards that I saw as I walked through the streets and alleys of UK. Old English men swilling their jugs of beers on the cobblestone streets outside the bar. Oh and probably without the grey skies of UK that I saw so ever often. Still it isn't quite UK, the culture and the English vibe that come with the peoples, the good and the bad, warts and all, eg. the graffitis.

Sorry that China does not bring convenient for foreigners, it's mainly meet the requirement of its huge population, not like a typical tourism country always ready for welcoming foreigners in SEA or Japan Korea Dubai etc..., I hope you can feel relieved after understanding this. And advice other people to be well prepared with map APP other than goolge's and VPN/telecom service from beginning:)
