I loved this guide it works out
Great guide
im personally not interested in sf6 but i still liked to watch you win
That ramlethal was frightening
Guys old rainwater is still here! 25:57
Nerf Zato
Buff Johnny too
im in love with your froggy
Thanks 🐸
Yes it's very funny and cute I agree
Same
Yr time stop getting beaten made me cry lmao
It was very funny
Yo im an Axl beginner, dope watching ur climb, though it was too fast. Maybe pick up a new character?
I was thinking of showing off different characters when explaining stuff
love the premise but there is an advantage at low ranks to consistently having combo dmg, antiairs, and supers. execution is a big part of the struggle as a low rank, and running into a modern is gonna be unfavorable until you get past platinum at least
Modern low ranks also dont have those. Even as far as diamond i can jump in on modern players without that much setup, as far as combos i showed how u dont need them here
Just your classic basic everyday shit right mate?
I want to start playing fighting games. Picked up tekken but my only controller is a ps5 controller and it feels awful. Apparently the dpad buttons aren’t separate buttons or something? Im having a hard time using it and am constantly getting wrong inputs. Any controller recommendations?
You could buy a cheap arcade/leverless controller maybe? Idk on controllers since i play keyboard only
this game doesnt have low dmg youre just not doing a combo that dues damage once u get to s rank youll run into yuzus that will do 5k off a one meter and no grd
I love the little axl froggy.
UNI2 IS 🔥
Learning a few combos that can be done anytime is what broke the ice for me in guilty gear. For like 15 hours I struggled, but eventually found an amazing guide which explained how to play Faust correctly. Mainly showed not niche combos, but actually ones to use in the neutral, when against the wall, how to use meter and everything
When my friends and I played a lot of BBtag, I had next to no aptitude for memorizing all the big scary FGC tech words and frame data my friends kept shouting at me. I just learned to get really good at blocking, gained a trademark technique of grabbing at the most random times, and then learned to do a combo off of that grab. I can't say I was ever better than any of my friends, but I could at least hold my own just by doing that, so what you say at beginning is pretty true. Having a simple game plan like that prevents you from panicking in a match.
im not even looking at the gameplay i just love your little frog mashing the buttons
what controller do you use? and loving the content!!
I use a snack box micro and thanks 🐸
The frog is awesome my guy!!! It had me dying every time you were hitting the buttons real fast.
Thanks 🐸
thank you for trying to bump this game it needs more players, i feel like casuals get intimidated by this game, even people in the fgc
Console needs more love for Uni 2 especially for the EU we aren't looking so good as most people are on pc.

The best mindset in my opinion is a question and answer approach. Play the game and find answers to specific interactions that happen most frequently. This helps you learn efficiently while also avoiding practicing pointless combos that aren't even practical for your skill level.
A new player is not even gonna know the questions in a match let alone the answers. Having things that u know work is a better way to approach learning a game.
@@MdZepp True. Although, I guess I'm assuming a person has played fighting games casually.
In anime we don’t call it “mashing” we call it “abare” so that it sounds like it’s a strategy :)
and when you get a lucky guess you say it was yomi
Bro played a bit of xrd when his channel name and frogs hat are both guilty gear references
I played strive, and zepp is from jojos
This video is cool but I wish you could find a spot for the frog dude that wasn't covering up the game's unique selling point
I didnt use the grd this stream, but yeah I’ll move it next time
10k views is crazy thanks guys. Yall better hop on uni though 🐸
I just go into training mode put the fastest move the cpu can do to see which move are punishable
Mad props for playing Yuzuhira, hard character
Also the coolest 😎
My brain read the title as "getting good fast food".
Yeah I don’t think you’re a fighting game beginner lmao. Well either you aren’t or ur a god
I’ve been playing casually all my life since kof is a mexican right. But started actually learning with strive when it came out. This was my first time playing uni tho
That's some pretty good advice for sure. Im not trying to toot my own horn but UNI2 is definitely a bit harder then most modern fg rn but I think its really good for players who want to REALLY improve cuz the guys on uni2 WILL display your problems forefront and center. I love watching people learning UNI2 cuz its such a good game :D
I have been playing against some other noobs and i think it is pretty approachable that way
26:33 - "YOU WANNA LEARN HOW TO DO A FUCKIN' INFINITE!?"
Enjoyable vid, thank you.
Game looks pretty cool ngl
upload replay got me
0:00 that wald combo fucking sucks
Something I also think that helps: just watching other people play. Very often I see shit other players do that i simply wouldn't have thought about. I literally learned footsies like a decade ago just from watching a guy beating everyone's ass in a lobby I joined. I've learned combos from watching other players do them and then started trying to copy them. It all really helps.
This is such a great video. Learning UNI now after being intimidated for so long.
I hope you have fun!
@@MdZeppWatching you have fun is making me have fun with the game! I hope you do a follow-up to this - or something similar! Some interludes between matches to talk about what you learned would be great too - since you’re so good at being relatable and easy-going in the intro of this vid!
I did that last video and it didn’t do as well as the video before that, I’m still finding my style of video, but i do think it’s better to have commentary in between , just trying different things
"That's a lot of endlag." Ah you started in smash too i see lol
Recovery frames is too long and yeah lol
Gonna be honest, i kinda hate combo trials for the sake of learning. Maybe I'll try like the beginner to intermediate stuff just to learn what the character wants, but from there i just look up combos online or from comp matches. I dunno i kinda prefer learning directly from example rather then learning to play ddr. If anything i just see harder combo trials as a way to flex.
Yeah I agree I usually look up combos online but I wanted to show how to use combo trials as a way to get used to ur character and learn an easy combo or two
Plus not everybody is gonna know where to find combos and combo trials are readily available in game
@@MdZepp Not that they even need to since combos in UNI's trials are actually viable. Unless you wanna experiment, these are more than good enough.
also just picked up uni2, your frog is an 11/10 when most talking heads are a 5/10 at most
Thanks 🐸
Picking one of the technical characters in the roster, imo, you’ve convinced me not to think about the technicalities and do more of the simple stuff. Love the chill vibes you have with you and your frog png that always looks like it has its hand on its cheek when it’s not pressing any of the attacking buttons. Thank you random frog person and welcome to uni2
I always just pick who I think looks the coolest visually, if it’s a complicated character I just start easy and work myself up to the more difficult things. Thank you for watching 🐸
@@MdZeppreal… in granblue i picked grimnir even tho he’s like the hardest character because big lance looked cool
as someone who started with +r johnny as my first fighting game last year i can relate, you can always start learning any character even when it might be a longer road ahead to being confident in your abilities
21:16 Bro what does this even mean 😭😭
In kof u jab to antiair shorthop and I kept jabbing to do that but that’s not a thing in this game, at least with yuzu
Always nice to see new folks getting into uni. It's a wonderful game (even if a bit jank but tbh what fighting game ISNT jank in some way, right? Haha) Best of luck on your journey learning Yuzu too! The chill and healthy outlook towards learning is definitely sub worthy too so take my +1 , funny RUclips frog person :D
*learned fighting games my self and my mantra to play anything and everything as long as i can beat people up since 1999 i loved games that made me*
This is actually really good advice! I just got into the game and I’m having a blast playing it
I love Yuzuriha she's so cool
Been wanting to get into this game more especially after evo ill take your advice to heart and use it tonight
Have fun and mash responsibly 🐸
