I feel like I have to give a resounding endorsement to this tutorial. I know it's advertised as a way to get to sub-hour speedrun, but it can take you much further than that. After a few weeks I've just gotten my first sub-45, and I have plenty of timesave to potentially get to sub-40. That's more or less just with the strats covered here in this tutorial. It's well-explained for most things, and it made speedrunning this very hard game approachable!

Just plat this baby yesterday. Seeing all the speedrunners playing and destroying all the bosses,makes me feel like a noob.

I've beaten the game 13 times already. I'm just tired of chasing after the bull every single time. This is the only annoying mandatory boss fight in the entire game.

The dragon glaive is so insane. I beat my first playthru the other day and I was looking for a better weapon the whole time but never found anything even close to as good. I did a lot of DPS and damage testing and if you are consistent with the fable counter there is nothing that can even touch the dps of the dragon glaive and you get it for free. Since the light follow up on the counter doesn’t use a fable charge you can crazy spam it and then use the heavy follow up for bigger opportunities for like one of hardest single hits in the game.

When I defeated Isshin, the splitter didn't set the time for the match when ended and the credits poped out Do I have to press a specific key or something for the splitter to save the PB when I finish the run?

After about 20 failed attempts, I used all that rage against the bull and fucking killed it at the first time. Just don't leave a moment to breath and you will kill it easily

To any & all new Sekiro players, TRUST ME, it is SO MUCH easier to just beat the bull by cheeseing it in the corner than to do this skip.

Is this patched? Im on my ps5 playing the ps4 version. Feels like im hitting wall. But im new fo this stuff on this game. Hopefully i can get it

good job on the speed run Can you pause a speed run to pee? It depends on the rules the game moderators set. If it is a very long run (usually more than 12 hours) you could probably take at least 1 break. But you most likely aren't allowed to take a break during a 3 hour long run.

Thank you very much. The stagger loop on monke did work very well. I couldn't use the exact strat you've explained, with the mid air mortal blade one, as I was right there and I hadn't unlocked that. But I figured another strat on my own, with your help.
