    I heard another person that travels to Cuba often say that mosquitos don't like the smell of coconut. So to keep them away you can use shampoo, deodorant, body wash or lotion that smells like coconut. I think it's a good idea. Something natural to use instead of bug spray. 🙂👍🇨🇦

    Almonte in Eastern Ontario is a quaint little town, with a statue of James Naismith, local lad who "invented" basketball while teaching in the USA. Lots of history in the Town and the area surrounding it. including The Mill of Kintail, summer home of another Almonte lad, R. Tait Mackenzie, who was a Medical Dr and sculptor. Definitely worth visiting!

    I lived in Toronto in the late 90's and I still visit often. I have walked most of the streets and I love finding cool, unknown places. Sometimes the places are new, sometimes I just never knew, but I enjoy exploring and finding great photo opportunities. Great video. I am now subscribed. Love the content. So many Toronto videos are redundant and full of all the obvious places. Great share. When I was young, we would get on the roof of the Eaton Centre. I don't think the vista was spectacular but I'm not sure if you can still go up there so easily.

    Love the way you enjoyed my city! A fun fact: the old section of the AKG was designed by Buffalo’s most famous architect - EB Green. He also built the hotel where you stayed on Delaware Ave.! The hotel was originally a doctor’s office, with upstairs living quarters. Green worked up to the age of 95 and over 150 structures are still standing, from the 1880s through 1950.

    My personal list (only including Line 1): BEST: 5. Glencairn - one of the more underrated in terms of design and fairly quiet from the business of Yorkdale and Eglinton West. The outdoor vibes are good too 4. St. Clair West/St. Clair - the colors of both stations are similar but with St. Clair West, the underground shuttle buses are a really neat feature and I love the various designs. St. Clair is more simpler but it reminds me of vanilla and cinnamon with its color scheme. 3. Dupont - love the vibe it gives and the orange definitely makes it pop 2. Union - love the simple black and white design and the business. Though the drawings are admittedly unsettling... 1. Museum - no reasons needed :) WORST 5. Hwy 407 - not an awful station but it almost feels like a missed opportunity with how big this is and not too many people use it. Also, so many of the first stations up until Finch West are just gray but this stood out the most especially since I take this everyday as a U of T. 4. Spadina - beautiful design but very shady and it feels like you can get jumped at any moment 3. Queen's Park/St. Patrick - same design (more or less) and not very spacious especially with latter 2. Dundas - really ugly/smelly 1. College/King - basically the same design and they looks unappealing and they smell

    The best time to see flamingoes in Cuba during the dry season, typically from November to April

  • @debracook8859
    @debracook8859 Месяц назад

    I have had the pleasure of living in Cuba for extended stays off resort over the years. I’m Canadian and love comparing the two cultures. One thing not the same is that while eating food when it’s hot hot is valued and expected in my country, it’s no big deal in Cuba. If a meal in Canada gets cold, we will reheat it before eating it. Cubans often leave hot food to sit at room temp before it’s consumed. It is not urgent that when a meal is hot/ready everyone begins eating right away. In fact often, a family will eat in shifts, or serve guests first all courses before they eat. It never really occu. I’ve done with that. And they’ve never heard of re-heating it (unless it’s been refrigerated) I suppose when you live in a really hot country, you don’t desire to consume really hot food where in Canada hot food is appreciated to help us warm up in a colder climate. And in Canada it cools faster than in the Caribbean climate.

    Cuba is a communist dictatorship. All money spent there goes to the government and not to the people who they oppress. @ Rich? I was born and raised in Cuba. Lived 30 years of my life under that regime and still have relatives there.
