This is a video that was made relatively quickly using a jig, purchasing spindles, legs, etc. Please watch it for reference.
I made a Nakashima-style chair with a large chunk of walnut left over from making a wood slab table.
I purchased the spindle and leg jig from a person in the domestic community who makes it with a CNC. I made it by referring only to the image and size without drawing a drawing.
It was a fun time that allowed me to save a lot of time and feel the simple Nakashima chair.
If I have the chance, I would like to make a chair that is as close to the original as possible.
