Taylor is the top, proraso in italy you buy in the cinese shop, and in the discount..... Taylor, dott Harris, Martin de candre, le pere llucien, stirling, ecc as the top, proraso is ridicolous save only the the preshave and the after and limite the vescica 500 gr mentolo for barber, but the soap is terribible,,, i am italiani i know very well proraso, is very very well palmolive costa down!!!! Is cream not soap 😂😂😂😊😊😊

I take it this razor is awesome for beginners to safety razor shaving?

I used this product and it doesn’t cut as close as a merkur 34c or the Muhle 41 this thing I wish to throw it in the trash, waste of $40.00.

The King C Gillette is a good starter razor. Once you get the bug you will be hooked and ready to move up to any one of the much finer DE razors. Lots of great blades to try as well as soaps and creams that blow away the stuff in a pressurized can.

That Gillette cool wave smells amazing.

I'm 63 and have used my KC for four years now. I don't want or need any other.

I let it air dry for atleast 2 hours before closing the razor in the scales and putting it away.

I have a lot of Thiers no one is perfect. Head or bevel are irregular. Sometimes blade is not centered!. Boker head is better but there are others issues. Water is not to use during shave! Rust will form under the handle! Your strop seems being Imperia La Roccia!🎉

Great to see you uploading on your original channel. It’s been far too long. I miss a lot of the older shaving fraternity. Times were simpler than. This is one of the best straight razors tutorials I’ve seen to date. And yes, I think you own more Proraso product than Proraso has inventory. Great video! Thanks for making it.

I bought one on sale for 7 euro in the netherlands at the Kruidvat store. As a travel razor. Together with an astra blade it is the best price to value ratio razor. Excellent..

The King C Gillette is one of the very best Safety Razor I've ever used, and it sadly is overlooked by many and underappreciated. I have two and just bought one for my grandson for his birthday in March to learn with, and I got him a revamped Gillette Slim for his high school graduation in June. The King C Gillette is very smooth, while at the same time being very efficient. One can get a more or less aggressive shave simply by using different blades. For me, I like Personna Comfort Coated (USA) in mine, followed by ASTRA Platinum and King C Gillette/Gillette Platinum (King C Gillette are Russian Made Gillette Platinum Blades). I'm sorry this is garbage as heck I highly suggest u put at least 40 bucks on a decent first razor or if u get this listen to a good shave tutorial cuz this will rip ur face up

I compared this to the Edwin Jagger DE89, and it was identical. The Gillette is much better value and quality on par. Astra SP, Perma Sharp and Nacet are all great blades for these razors.

This razor is now my number 1. It's above the ones that cost 5 bucks and 200 bucks and all in between. This razor is not a 34C, DE89, R89 etc. It smoother and much more efficient! This razor is no joke, no joke at all. Cheers and a great vid. Great review
