The sigma bokeh is more "vibrant". We can clearly see it on the pic on the top of the building. Anyway I would prefer sample without edit.
Great video! What do you think the result would be if you shot this at 3200 and push it one stop to 6400? Similar to the 3rd test or would it be less grain cause your pushing it two stops less?
looks great
Thank you
Thanks for sharing, wanted some examples of what the xs20 flash was capable of.
Shooting slide film it's not like shooting negatives, your chances are narrower since slide film is unforgivable, and just as a tip, always step down the exposure a tiny little bit, the positive slide film is exactly the opposite of negative, the punch comes from the deeper shadows instead highlights.
Years ago I was shooting Tmax 3200 at ISO 1000 and developing the film myself using Tmax developer. Unfortunately I don't remember the development time. But my photos turn out great. The secret to avoiding excessive grain is to not over-agitate the film during development. Very slowly and gently invert the development tank twice every minute or so.
I wish you had told me which camera you were shooting with here...
Nice video !!! I have expired P3200 I will try to shot 800 iso push to 3200 iso.
hey wondering, if you ever got the full strength version. also wondering if the full strength version would be too much for some senior portrait sessions. I want a little softness to cut down on editing but not too much blur.
Was this metered at @400?
Don't watch "Digital Trump vs Film Biden" (my latest youtube short) if you hate when film photographers get political.Love the styling for the model. You got some great poses. Both were dope. Which cam got your fav shot?
Great video!! I’m now even more excited to shoot this film. What lens did u use for the beach photos? The 4th photo at 7:57 is soooo cool!! The ocean looks like a back drop with that dept of field and angle!
Glad you enjoyed it. I believe it was the Nikon 105mm f2.5. Thanks for watching.
Hi speed film? It's only 200 to be honest
Great work as expected.
Thanks for watching!
I live in Japan. When I started shooting film again about 5 years ago I found 25 rolls in a small camera store for about $10 per roll. I bought them all. Still have 15 rolls stored in the freezer.
Lucky. I can't find any anywhere. 😅😅
These are gorgeous! Did you shoot it at box speed?
Thank you. & yes box speed
If you want grainy pictures while shooting with HP5, just develop it in Rodinal, with stronger actuations, and you're good...
Sup Dakota!
Big Mike!
Wonderful work! you nailed that look.
Thank you!
@@DCaldwellPhotography keep going, you’re gonna have loads of subs before long 👌
Really cool ! Thanks for all the advices !
Thanks for watching!
These look like stills straight out of a movie! So lovely. Great job!!
Thank you so much!
These pics r wonderful! ❤ that cinematic look. Keep up the great work!
Thank you!
Please don't get mad but I just posted an Anti fuji x100vi video. Just trying to help my fellow poor photogs that are burning with jealousy from all these sexy machines getting shown off online. Sick lighting. Real cinematic. SUBBED
Hahaha! Nah, dude, no worries. There are tons of other great alternatives out there! Thanks for the sub!!
@@DCaldwellPhotography thanks for understanding man. Out here fighting G.A.S. one camera at a time
Excellent video. Thank you sharing this with us.
& Thank you for watching!
These are fire!!
Thank you! Full length video drops tomorrow!
great video, very informative!
Thanks for watching
Great video bro, this is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to see what kind of range this camera has and it looks like it delivers. I was wondering how it does with portraits in natural lighting. What are your thoughts on the X100VI vs Sony A7CII?
Hey, thanks for watching! Yes, the X100VI is quite an amazing camera. In terms of comparison, I haven't ever used the A7CII so I technically can't really speak too much on it.
@1:17 "..is it that cold?" Dude , we can see your breath in the air on video. hahaha I really enjoyed this entire set of photos, felt like glimpsing in on their life.
So fun fact - it was like 8 degrees in the house we were shooting in due to the heating system not functioning. Was even colder outside. I think it also added to the dynamic of the session. 🤣🤣 Thank you for watching.
That Cinestill red halation is to die for!
It is beautiful!
Great shots, aperture, shutter speed, ISO used?
🤣🤣 I remember you asked on my last one. I believe most of these were at f2 for Aperture. Iso around 100-400(varied for indoor and outdoor shots) & around 1000 for SS. Thanks for watching!
Omg these are so beautiful. Great job to you and your model! You are magic with that X100VI camera.
Thank you! Really loving this little camera!
Excellent work as expected from you I!
I appreciate it man! Thank you!
Well, flat lighting certainly has its place and it can look good. But it’s a little bit of an acquired taste. Flat doesn’t have to mean lifeless, though.
GOood,can you share ur PP?
Great video, thank you! I knew the 20% wasn't for me, but I wanted to see a good comparison between the 5% and the 10% and this pretty thoroughly convinced me that 10% is the way to go.
Nice shots Bro, beautiful lady! You should insert the aperture, iso, shutter speed used,
Appreciate that, man. I'll keep it in mind for next time. Thanks for watching!
How can i get the link to the dehancer am using Mac
In other words, crappy snapshots from a disposable camera.
I bet you're fun at parties. 🥳
the flash is what i miss the most now that i have sony A6700, might go back to the XS20
The xs20 on camera flash was also pretty dope for night portraits. Lovely camera. Thanks for watching
This might be good advice for print film, but you should shoot expired slide film at box speed and bracket
all film shot at box speed?no pushing?
They look absolutely fantastic, how did you get that amount of detail?
Lots of practice with manual focus lenses lol
HE A SOUL BRUDDA
❤❤ the smooth color/background/setting, whatever. Guess movie-like quality? Model pulled it off too. Nice.
Thank you!
I forgot my x100vi had a flash thanks for the reminder! great shots too!
Haha! It's one of my fav features on that little beast. Thanks, and I love the Fuji content. Keep up the great work!
extremely helpful video, bro. i've been scouring the internet for more visual information on this film. appreciate you.
Glad it helped man. Happy shooting!
Ooooo, those flash shots at the beginning are gorgeous!
🙏🏾🙏🏾
Такая хорошенькая 😊❤
Love the digitals. The film ones just look more natural, though. ❤
