Has anyone had any issues with the wash cycles in these machines using less than optimal water? Does it feel like normal eash cycle should usea bit more water than it currently does? Any changes to the way the detergent type and/or quantity made a difference in getting clothes better clean? We just bought these pair and wanted to see how to get the most out of these two for a cleaner laundry. Thanks.

Good morning I got the same set as you but the dryer setting in the normal cycle is not heating. Is it true that some of the dryers cycle setting don’t use heat to dry

How do you use the Spin Only option? I’ve tried but it just beeps.

Am trying to find out if the dryer has it's own heat pump. Have read specs and cannot find this answer!

LG front load washers with turbo wash are my favorite....they use more water in the rinses than other front loaders... way more water in the rinses than in the wash... that being said...I think they base all washers NORMAL cycle on government regulations... so anyone might want to avoid that cycle as I think it would likely be the most stingy with water... My first choice would be a speed queen front load but those are built like tanks but outrageously expensive... As for the dryer....hopefully it will last... the pairing is neat...I just hope they last... I think it might be wise to plug them into an appliance surge protector....When my whirlpool duet (now almost 20 years old) dies... I will be getting the LG with turbo wash front load in white and if I hit the lottery, maybe a speed queen front load.

When you first get the washing machine, should you do the tub clean on it? Also, do you have to wipe it clean like you’re doing the video after each load or only when you’re done for the day?

Honestly I think not having a drum light is a good thing. We leave our washer open so it doesn't allow mold growth and it seems to keep the washer smelling better. If you had the light, wouldn't it stay on if the door was left open?

How does the washer hold up using the pods? Our LG (purchased in 2018) hated the pods. It was a front loader and it just got too soapy and wouldnt drain right and there were tons of suds in the drum. I was using the tide pods from sams and they were huge so maybe that's why? The washer actually broke completely today so we ordered the set you have in the video! I want to switch back to the pods but won't want to ruin the new machine.

Does the light come on when you open the dryer? Just got mine and I thought it did but yesterday I noticed it didn’t so I don’t if something messed up

I do the same thing for my Kenmore Elite(Lady Kenmore) at least every 4-6 weeks and drain the trap after 2-3 weeks and definitely after the tub clean! When I start to smell sewage, it reminds me to drain and clean the trap! My Maytag machine didn’t have the trap feature nor did clean it every month! Now I do so obviously with the Kenmore! I use various kinds of cleaner(s). They don’t ship the Clorox tub cleaner to California for some stupid reason. Nevertheless, I just use regular bleach…only when necessary like after cleaning any dog begging!

2nd day with a brand new wm4000hba. 16 hours of trying to do a load with an hour on lg chat doind the same steps I told them I already done and still cant get mine to spin with clothes in it. Piece of 💩 if you ask me.

My Samsung front load finally bit the bullet last week. I decided to go with LG this time but i only needed a washer not the dryer. I found this exact model at the Best Buy Outlet for $699. It's basically brand new. I love this washer. I also made my own pedestals cause I would never pay that much for those LG pedestals. Eventually, I know I will have to replace my Samsung dryer too. of course, I will have to get the matching dryer. By the way, is that a gas or electric dryer that you have? Nice video by the way.

My washtower arrived from Home Depot yesterday. They didn't include the steam kit that I paid for so I had to drive an hour to buy one. Spent all day installing this thing, and now it's not steaming. It's just squirting out water, no steam. My clothes are wet after a steam cycle...!

I just got this set. My question is, why do my clothes come out more wrinkled after I use Steam Fresh cycle? I’ve been trying it with 1 or 2 golf shirts at a time, and each time it is more wrinkled than when it went in. I have tried several shirts, all different fabrics. I got it specifically for this feature. I replaced my 10 yr old LG set for this and that washer had the steam fresh cycle, not the dryer. I loved how that one worked. Clothes came out fresh, a bit damp and not wrinkled at all. Regardless of fabric. Anyone else had the problem with wrinklles after steam FRESH? Maybe step by step on the dial or buttons you push? I just put it on steam fresh and start. And remove as soon as cycle stops.

Hi, like the review, I am blind, just wondering if you have the issue that the light does not follow the knob? so when you set the knob and you think it is set for say heavy duty, it selects bedding? It does going towards the right too. So should I set my eero mesh to turn off 5 g when setting my app up?

No water coming out of mine at all. Water hookups are on, water on. Washer steam works but not the dryer part. Any thoughts? Thank you!

I just bought the washer! I would advise everyone against "black stainless steel" that's a sticker they put over regular old stainless steel it can peel off is not powder coated or anything! Let that sink in your "esthetics" can peel off if it gets gouges or scratches be warned
