I don't think people realize how insane this run. Its not just the best run in Pokemon, its one of the best speedruns of any game, period. Pokemon Red is a 30 year old game at this point, its been optimized. To even get a chance at beating this youd have to play perfectly and probably reset 10k times just to get a single WR pace run

Save and resetting is a glitch. Manipulation of the way the game should be played. None of this counts. Glad i stopped this at 18 minutes and nothing more.

Interesting. One database said Nidoran-m gets double kick at lvl 43, other database said it gets it at lvl 12. When I did a run in Pokemon Red, I remember being sad about not getting double kick early. Strange.

Why take the extra steps going to the left and behind your house in pallet town? It's 5 extra steps and 2 extra pivots. Does this affect an encounter?

Why are there no pokemon animations upon entrance into battle? As far as I know, you CANNOT turn those off in the options menu. Did you disable them through an exploit of some sort? Are you 100% sure that works for the entrance animations? Like, Typhlosion wont grow his flame and move? I know it works for attack animations but not sprites. Every time I've turned off battle scenes the sprites have still always moved.. You must have a modded version of the game
