Lotus and Sabro Hazy Pale Ale
Просмотров 7603 года назад
After discovering Lotus hops I knew I would have to pair it with Sabro in my hazy pale ale. This beer is bright, bold and full of flavour. The combination of Lotus and Sabro together creates a tropical punch type drink consisting of vanilla, coconut, stone fruit and berries. The recipe is Marris Otter 4kg, 8.8 lbs Wheat Malt 1kg, 2.2 lbs Cara Malt 500g, 1.1 lbs Kviek ale yest 60 mins Sabro 5g, ...

    Did you have to add any coals to the grill? I've seen indirect cooks on this grill where they keep the side vents open on the coal side and closed on the meat side. They also close the top vent on the coal side and open the top vent on the meat side. Good job though, the meat looks great.

    This video is just what i was after. I have tried the NZ Crumble Cider in a can but didn't fancy spending $100 on a case! Being a brewer this seemed a better option. One question I had, with the steeping of oats I'm not sure whether the oats are just soaked and the juices used or do you actually put in the softened oats?

    • @jackeladventures1419
      @jackeladventures1419 3 года назад

      Sorry that wasn't clearer, the oats get thrown out after . In the last few batches I have actually not used oats at all, and found it just not to be worth the added effort
