Hi, I bought the exact same for mine (bought 2 incase) and fitted it on. I see that there seems to be a difference on color. The unchanged original one is more cooler and whiter than the new one. The new part is genuine and looks very similar but its noticeable that its not as cool and gives a very slight yellow affect so i'm not sure if I have the right Osram light. Would that mean it's the CBI Osram Cool Blue intensive version of the D1s that I need or have I got the right one still and just not right? Because from the one I took out to the new one looks identical and is same model. Thanks

I just did mine, and while the video was great, I would offer one of two suggestions: Either put the bulb in first, and then connect the wiring as the wiring is very short because it is tired down, and thus, it is hard to maneuver your hand around in there; or I noticed a little zip tie, and if I did not do the first one, I would clip the zip tie to get more maneuvering room. My wiring was not as free, or long, as the one in the video.

Great video, did you need to drain the oil first or no?

I added a little bit of long lasting grease and worked great for me. I first checked with wd40 and when I confirmed that i put some grease.. thanks for your video 👍🏻😊

Hello there, just as an update this worked GREAT on my new gen bmw X6 . Thank you so much for helping me out that noise was driving me crazy and the my local dealership here in Costa Rica had no idea how to fix it. So once again just thank you for taking the time to upload this.
