You can contact BitFlyer in English and tell them what you told me using the reference number on that receipt that you got. If you see your name on that receipt, I am sure you will have the money in your account.

If you accidentally send money by letter pack, it might get to your intended destination within Japan but I wouldn't send it by letter pack. Japan Post has another service for sending cash. You need to go there in person and request a special form for sending cash which will guarantee delivery. You must disclose the amount you want to send. There is a maximum but I am not sure of what it is. I hope this helps!

You are only required to pay the shipping charge and there is no storage charge on top. As long as you send your baggage early such as a week before then you are safe! Sometimes the baggage can get there within three business days so if you send it on Monday it should get there on Thursday or earlier depending on the time you drop it off. From my experience dropping off your baggage before 4 PM will most likely be in your favor! The airports have a designated area for baggage pick up. Don’t lose your receipt/waybill.
