Yes, it worked well, just about!
We're starting here with a pickled brisket, you can get this from any supermarket or deli that has a kosher section usually. The one I have here is from Tesco (UK) and is kosher/halal. For this cook I used my Instant Pot Pro Duo Crisp and a brisket up to 1.5kg should fit.
Ingredients
1 - 1.5kg pickled brisket
Dry Rub:
2 tbsp black peppercorns
2 tbsp coriander seeds
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tbsp yellow mustard
2 tbsp liquid smoke
No need for salt!
I've made this since and it works better in a convection oven, the air fryer tends to dry the brisket out a bit, even cooking at the low temp. It still came out very nice...

this worked so well I love you! I put all my stuff in the fridge for a few hours as well. Maybe that helped. But anyway, I've tried to make this at least twice and it never worked but with this guide I will be 50% toum by summer.

This is not a garlic sauce like toum. This is a garlic mayonaise. Mayonaise has egg whites not toum

do you mean a stand mixer? not ideal for this method I would say. You need bladed to cut up the garlic

I do wish cooks who make videos about cooking raw prawns would state timings. These prawns appeared to be a lot longer in the pan than I would choose. Some videos specify 2 minutes on one side and 2 minutes on the other. Other videos say 30 seconds per side. It's just too easy to overcook raw prawns so that they become rubbery. Yet another recipe I watched said to wait till the prawns turn pink. All a bit hit and miss.
Hard to put exact timings as cooking on different hobs will produce different results with different cooking times. I would suggest with prawns that a higher heat is better. Larger prawns are more forgiving in terms of overcooking, etc.
Use common sense.

Well it didn't work, at first I blended all the garlic and later added the salt, oil and lemon juice. Now its just a yellowish fluid.. In another video was advised to blend the garlic first. Later I ran into your video
if you have the hand blender and the right container it will definitely work, once you do it a couple of times, you'll get the feel for it thickening up

you can try without eggs but it can be harder to emulsify. I've seen videos where aquafaba is used instead

The first time I tried this method it worked perfectly and I was like hallelujah! The 4 times since then it's failed every time, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've tried various speeds and I follow the steps here in the video, it's starts to emulsify then when I try to mix in the rest it splits... any tips hahah.
when starting to lift the blender, really try to feel the resistance to see if it has thickened up.. Give it more time if it's still feeling loose. Hope you persist with it!
