Hi Everyone! This channel is here because I love music and have watched music videos since the early days of MTV. I started wondering what fantastic bands are out there that I've never heard of. So I asked for some suggestions and have been sent on a quest to experience so much new music. I love all music genres. I look forward to all the new music. Thank you, Nate Rockne

This sound original is Band "Angra" from first Album called "Angels Cry". Listen o Singer Andre Matos and guitar player Kiko Loureiro
Man! Blind Guradian were one of the Bands to create the genre of "Powermetal"! The are around since the 80s, and I love them since we heard their MCs on a Walkman in School Bus! Most of the early works are related to JRR Tolkien and other Fantasy thems, they are LEGEND! Please check out " The Bards Song", its a classic! Cheers Mate and greetings from Germany!
Thank you for the recommendation. I'll check it out. Greetings to you in Germany!

That playful syncopation from the guitars coming out of the breakdown section into the nice little airy palate-cleansing passage with the light vocal is #ChefsKiss imho. Love it. Between this & the other single (which I also very much enjoy- I don't need, or want, every song to be fast & furious), I'm looking forward to buying the album. :) Given that Peter & Chris both went to Berklee's Valencia campus (& thus met Jorge there) to do their jazz-leaning Masters, I'm guessing they both have plenty of melodic, harmonic, & rhythmic, chops to take us down all sorts of interesting musical paths. It can be super satisfying when accomplished jazzers let their heavier influences come thru! ;)
💚💚😻
Floor is the best!!!
Hello, Borahae and happy belated birthday. I found you on my main yt account but had to pop over to a minor account because I wanted to comment. First off, I'm a HUGE watcher of BTS reactors, and I am so appreciating the genuine vibe of all of your comments. I have now watched all of your BTS videos up until this one and loved the way you reacted to this one. In some of your earlier videos, I was hoping for some more reaction. I enjoy when reactors pause and share with the camera during videos. Also, you have a nice voice. Secondly, I love this progression of song choices. I don't know if you've heard other BTS songs outside of what you've shown us in video, but your choices are the best! The lesser highlighted gems that are fun to watch with you. If someone is guiding you, great job. If not, great job. I also love that you appreciate our lyrical poet, King Kim Namjoon. So yeah, Welcome!
Thank you for the kind feedback. I have gone with some requests and some songs that peaked my curiousity. I'm really glad I checked out BTS and have become a fan of theirs. I haven't reacted to BTS for a few weeks and think I'll be checking some more out this week.
Die (the german version) Krupps; To the hilt.
The song is about the 30 years war but the sentiment applies world over. Also, in modern times, the Swedish military have been active in Africa, the Balkans, Afghanistan. UN missions. There is a law about general draft but this gen, maybe 1/10 even get checked, less are "drafted". Now, things might change. During the Cold War into the 90's it was most if not all were called when they were 18, most if not all, served. Not professionally, but for like 12-18 months, basic training. Men. Of course ;)
The law is the same though. If shit hits the fan all able bodies like 16-75, called in
Thank you for the info. I love that I can listen to their music and get a history lesson at the same time.
Sabaton = making war history easy and fun to learn by doing metal song about it😊
Im sorry national guard? this is about the 30 year war when Swedish men was sometimes bourn into the army
Just my experience. Not claiming to have been in a war.
This soldier fought for every country in the world and this song praises it.
🎉🎉🎉

Hi Nate, just came across your channel, love it. Sabaton is a poweful thing, and I'm saying that as a Depeche Mode hard mode fan. So being a medic seems like an career that fits you, please continue that. I myself went as a UN soldier to Bosnia in 1995, you didn't miss much except knowning what's really important in life.
Thank you for your service. I'm going to be checking out alot more Sabaton.
From age 16 to 70 duty can call any swede since we have a draft to fill the bulk of our army. But in reallity 18 to 47.
Hello. Lovley reaction as always 😊👍 I got an idea of what you should do if you feel like it! And that is to react to all Sabaton's songs in all the albums they have! What I mean is to go all in with Sabaton, Even if it will take time as you react to other music too!😊 But it makes absolutely nothing if it will take time if you decide to do this journey! I am sure you would have loved it and not regretted it! 😉 I want to recommend songs to you!😎 You can skip the ones you have already reacted to if you want! The valley of death Dreadnought Soldier of heaven Stormtroopers Steel commanders Kingdom come Defense of Moscow Fields of verdun A ghost in the trenches Great war official video Devil dogs 82nd all the way Seven pillars of wisdom All guns blazing The last battle Shiroyama 7734 Man of war Hearts of iron Killing ground The Carolean's Prayer Long live the king Metal ripper White death Coat of arms The final solution The price of a mile Cliffs of Gallipoli Metal Crüe Nightchild Back in control In the name of god Metal machine Purple heart Wolf pack Panzer battalion. Remember that it's perfectly okay to show emotions and cry when listening to music in reaction videos, etc. I love your channel ❤️ Sabaton has been my favorite band since they were formed in 1999 in Falun here in Sweden!🇸🇪 Warm and kind greetings from a big Sabaton fan in northern Sweden (Västerbotten) 🇸🇪🇸🇪
I can give it a shot. This sounds like a challenge.
@@NateRockne Lovley to hear!😊👍👍👍👍 I think you will like that challenge and journey very much!😎 The songs I suggested are from different albums with Sabaton! You don't have to react to the songs you've already reacted to, unless you want to of course! you decide of course! It should be fairly easy to find each album with accompanying songs on either RUclips or Spotify! RUclips should have all the videos for all Sabaton's songs! animated, official videos etc! If you need help/tips, There are many of us in the comment field who can help you if you need help during this journey 😊 It will be very interesting to see and hear what you think of all their songs! And then when all the albums are finished, Please tell us which is your favorite album!😊🙏 Sabaton is also working on a new album! 😊 Warm and friendly greetings from Johan
@@johankarlsson3113 I was thinking about reacting to each song on an album and then giving my thoughts on the album as a whole at the end. Thank you for the idea.
Lovley to hear that! 😎👍👍 You are welcome!😊👍 Thanks for very good videos and a really good channel 😎👍👍👍
This song has an English version as well. While the Swedish version focuses on the single soldier of the 30-year war, the English version focuses on a broader scale. War in general, to the theme of the 30-year war
The 30 years war are considered by many historians as the first world war because so many nations were involved.
Sabaton has a History page here on RUclips: Sabaton History. Here is the story of A Lifetime in War - The Thirty Years War - Sabaton History 034 [Official] ruclips.net/video/RT2FLNvzoPQ/видео.html
I'll check it out.
A medic? "The Ballad of Bull" is the next Sabaton song for you. Leslie "Bull" Allen was an Australian stretcher bearer in WWII, but I think it'll resonate. He's credited with saving 12 US soldiers by going alone into fire and bringing them back one-by-one. All 12 survived, and he never took a physical scratch. He would be recognized by the United States with a Silver Star, but he was never recognized, even today as far as I know, by the Australian government. I do wish people would react to lesser known Sabaton songs and get them out there. Also, check out their Sabaton History channel for background on all of their songs.
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll check it out. I'm not against watching lesser known songs.
Welcome to the Sabaton Family
Thank you.
We were around 10 000 people in the audience.
A powerful song, Nate, thanks for the reaction! I learned this in Swedish just to be a part of such an epic singalong!
I'm assuming Desmond Doss I a hero of yours?
I don't think I've heard of him. I did a quick search and he sounds like a true hero.
@NateRockne if you've never seen "Hacksaw Ridge" I'd recommend checking it out, it's based on Desmonds life and career it also features archive footage/interviews with the man himself during the end credits
@@mpainter22 I don't think I've seen Hacksaw Ridge. I'll look for it. Thank you for the info.
Nice reaction, I was at this show (sitting somwhere in the middle of the platform to the left from this view of the stage) The album Carolus rex they had released during that time is about a part of Swedish history called the era of great power (stormaktstiden in Swedish) from when Sweden was a much bigger nation with ambitions of expanding. The album was released with both an Swedish and English version, the difference being that the Swedish one tells the story from our/a Swedish soldiers view while the English is more from an outsiders view of the war. They had sold out the arena for this show so there was around 10766 metalheads in the arena, needless to say, it was one hell of a show that night.
I'm sure you'll never forget that experience. Thanks for the info.
The lyrics can apply to any war, anytime. Sabaton keeps it real.
What a show, what a atmosphere, what a band ,what a song ,what crowds 🔥🔥🔥
They sing about the Thirty Years' War (1618-1648) .. Where Sweden became a great power 💙💛
En livstid i krig means ”A lifetime of war and is about the 30-year long european war in the 17th century ,
This is what the song is about, Greetings from Sweden en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thirty_Years%27_War
Thank you. Greetings to you in Sweden!
Joakim auditioning for his employment as a conductor when his voice is gone...
🎉🎉🎉😅
Thanks for your reaction to this funny song by Tommy! 😄 There is another metal singer I highly suggest you should check out (if you haven't done so yet): Dan Vasc is from Brazil and extremely talented. Try Amazing Grace, it's epic! 😉 subscribed ✔️
Thank you for the suggestion. I'll check him out.
Great reaction. At the end he is telling chickens to pick up their cards and play (translated by Swedish reactor) Subbed👍👍
Thank you
The Banjo is new to him. This is the third banjo song in a row. 🙂
