I was lucky enough to live across the st lawrence river from kingston ont in the states and i was lucky enough to grow up to these guys, they were there at every important moment in my (at the time) young life, ive seen them live probably 15 times over the years and the tears still fall every time i watch this, we all miss you so much gord i still can't believe your gone, i can still remember listening to chez 106.1 and 106.9 the bear whenever the new hip album was dropping it was more than magical! So thank you guys and we still love you and there will never, ever be a band like The Tragically Hip again, RIP Gord the lord needed your beautiful soul back home but until we meet again....

I tried to watch this love love the hip so fully completely however got 15-20 minutes in and was sobbing like a baby I miss his live shows I miss whst could of been of course I’m happy he left a strong beautiful body of work I can’t imagine what his fam and band and friends feel speechless right now

I remember sitting alone, as always, in a theatre watching the final show that was broadcast live coast to coast. Last time I saw them was Another Roadside Attraction over 2 decades earlier.

Even if Barnyard was light-hearted, this film had an interesting and dark final battle that was both funny and included a terrifying villain as one of the most evil villains from Nickelodeon Movies alongside Plankton from The Spongebob SquarePants Movie.

There’s a bit of irony that Ben tells Otis that line about strong men and stronger men. When Ben stood up to the coyotes mentally he was standing up for the barnyard but physically he came representing himself. And so as brave as he was he was still slain. Otis on the other hand was on a rescue mission. He survived long enough for the squad to assemble like the Avengers

At 27, it still chokes me up. Otis obviously sees is situation is grim. But he walks in confident. Knowing he wont give up. Then as he starts to fight is fathers song starts to play. The animation cuts to Otis throwing coyotes. Each one landing by several others. Almost to show us, Otis is in a losing battle. Yet he still fights. He will not back down. Even after he’s been attacked more times then His dad. He still has the courage to stand, and speak straight facts about the coyotes being cowards, and how Otis will stand for others. Jesus this was such a great movie.
