Did your truck come with out the egr turbo or was it deleted?
This truck had dd15 in it and my Friend had it changed to a 14L Detroit series 60 so no egr.
Thank you for doing this. Looking at the park, it looks fairly straightforward. How can any mechanic charge $2000 for that job?
Did you pre fill Turbo with oil?

@@dislandtruckingtv399 What turbo did you use? I have same truck with a 14l, The previous owner put a Sx400 from a Cat that turbo is actually to long in spec but they shoved in there and the air cleaner tube is directly against the back of the alternator, and now the oil seal is turbo has failed and I need to replace it. And I don't want to go with the stock turbo from 14L because they have that aggravating whistle that would drive me nuts, thinking of using a turbo off a 12.7, just wondering what turbo you went with..
So it is not necessary to pre lube the brand new turbo?
When these seals leak will it causes the truck to smoke badly?

Dry van! Reefer drivers got treated like crap a lot more often than van drivers. Fueling is 1 & done. No extra hours wasted waiting in line for washouts.
great video, i have a mechanic that want to charge me $2000 for all six seal replacement. i know the number 6 is hard to change but after watching your video i think i can do 5. but i also noticed that you did not prime your truck and it was able to start without a problem. i saw different videos relatively to this but they primed their truck before starting it.
Thank you, that was my first time doing it, it is very easy to do, I didn't prime it and it started right up.
If you do more than 2 I would recommend that you prime it

I did dry van and reefer. I love the reefer Even though there is a wait most time to get loaded and unloaded
