Change your starting hit to J.s. or 2k. Ino is full high/low mix, and theres no way ur getting a hit confirm off a mid. But if you do feel as if your opponent is going to press a button on wakeup, use C.s. since it does way more damage than 5k.

So, one thing to note about bedman?'s pressure is that he's very safe after most of his errors. Error 6E S (!S/13C !S) should be around +36 on block, meaning that bedman? can act a whopping 36 frames before you can do anything. What does this mean? Well, after his errors, you probably shouldn't just mash. Wait for a normal or for a special to either jump out of their pressure or punish them. Stuff like Call 4B3 (236S), which are very negative if hit on block (-12f). Lastly, when you hit a j.S, you could also do j.D to try and combo or 2k to do a high-low frametrap. Hope this helps, and keep up the grind!^^

On the 5K > 6HS string, you could also do mad love agigato (214S) or chemical love (214k). Chemical love won't combo, but it'll allow you to set up a reset with antidepressant scale (214P) . Mad love agigato (214S), on the other hand, should combo pretty well into sultry performance (236K/S/HS). This could carry the opponent to the corner and give you a soft knockdown to start your pressure, but you should still be safe overall no matter what. Though I highly recommend getting used to special inputs, if you still don't feel comfortable using them in combos, you could just use Antidepressant scale after the opponent is on the ground after 6H. That should lock them blocking until you're ready to start your high-low pressure once more. Hope this helps!^^

For Sultry Performance, all variations can be cancelled out and put you in an airborne state if you press the same button you used to do the move. the HS variation usually does three hits uncharged, and allows you to follow up with j.S usually if you cancel after the third hit successfully. the S and K versions are definitely safer on miss or if you get blocked, allowing you to immediately enter a low guard if so. I have bad muscle memory constantly following up MLA with 236HS, that's most of the time safe unless the opponent doesn't get launched far/ enough upwards/I'm too far away, in that case I have to do 236S or air dash into j.S.

If you're worried about 5HS hitting too late and them teching out of it, you can swap it with either 2K or 2HS depending on range. for combo 3, you have to force yourself to pause a tick so STBT hits, though you can't continue it any further without RRC.

Having a newer players perspective on her is honestly crazy helpful compared to the super in depth guides that are hard to digest. Looking forward to more!

"Woe me, people are salty" Yes. You absolutely deserve it for Slayer. Every Slayer loss/saltpost is a step closer to lobbies not being one third just him and an overall more varied game. Every salty outburst is a point in favor of nerfing him. It happened before, it unfortunately will probably happen again with another overtuned character, hating on characters is a part of player feedback and the balancing cycle. So, deserved, don't take it personally.

It is clips like these that make me thankful I don’t have friends that play May. Also, always nice to see people learning Slayer. Really the best advice to give is to abuse certain cancels. There were multiple points where hitting 2S > 2H would’ve landed, and from there canceling into mappa or super mappa would probably give you your turn back. Keep it up and keep practicing!
