Why is there a bathtub spout at the bottom of your shower?
I think it's to test the water with your feet before turning the shower head on. Also makes the shower a bit easier to clean. I stayed at my uncle's house a few times as a kid (which had a very fancy bathroom) and his shower had one of these.
There are certain cultural practices that require routine foot washing 😊

La calidez de la luz tenue casando con la frialdad del mármol, el reflejo en el precioso grifo que gotea sin parar, la limpieza que te invita a echarte ahí encima envuelta en un edredón, los escalofríos invadiendo cada poro de tu piel… Yo le quitaría el tapón y bajaría la intensidad del chorro para que cayera en el mismo tapón y el sonido sería brutal!!!
