Folks! Back at it again ‼️ I introduce to some and present to others my layout! This update covers of about 6 months of work; most of it you may have seen from previously uploaded build series videos. In this one we go over what went into making the new scenes.
These bridges all work together to help me create some quite dynamic scenes, and also now provide some real opportunity to inject some serious flavor into this fairly simple layout.

Ohh geez this was a while ago. You may have to go back and look at the videos when the colors appeared to change to see. I'm pretty sure I stated then what I used. They were rustoleom spray paints.

You know, you could narrow the river to 20" or whatever to fit the bridge, w/ a levee or some kind of concrete embankment, which would also give you more space for scenery &/or a structure of some sort. I like that Dr Pepper & cream soda too!😀

Use masking tape (yellow) to assemble before gluing. This prevents errors.

When People Build Their Layout no Mater What the Scale Is we All Have Our Myth to Our Madness Computer or Not my Wife And I we Didn’t use Computer to Build Our Layouts We Model Ho And N Scale.

This is a great tutorial! It really helps in understanding the bridge building process for this kit and I have to heartily agree with you about the Walthers instruction sheet's simplification. There are just not enough detailed explanations and 'watch for's' in their instructions. You've really shown a lot of important elements in the building process. Well done!

Another thing to do is to ensure your trackwork is perfect or close to it. You can also use a NMRA standards gauge (use flange ways). Great video!

Did you ever find #20 ? they are short flat pieces that reinforce the gap between the bottoms of the outer truss.
Ha honestly I have no idea if I did or not. However I can point you to the double track version of this bridge I completed about a month ago. ruclips.net/video/yINLXdsMUjQ/видео.htmlsi=zCR37VWGxZO1IORB I can't say that it'll be completely the same with respect to one being ST and the other being DT, but it may help. Also from then to now idk if any product changes were made. Ik for sure instruction manual/sheet changed have been made after speaking with walthers about their instructions.. 🫤🫤
Turning the instruction 90 degrees clockwise you will see #20 at bottom of picture. They are joiners for the bottom of the halves.
