Other smartwatches like Fitbit, Google, Garmin are far superior to the Apple Watch in terms of performance and functionality, registering HRV, SpO2, ECG, Stress Index etc. You’d need the Apple Watch Ultra to get half of these features…

I wanted to know about its apple health sync capabilities. What syncs and what does not? Can we use Amazefit watch on one day and Apple on the other without compromising the Apple Health Data? Would that be seamless?

I used to love vanquest and own many if their products but I started having issues with their products when they started using 500d cities I bought two very expensive back packs from them each lasted 18 months before I couldn't use them any more because if torn 500D corners being torn or zipper failures.

You could use another elastic strap keeper on the shoulder strap right behind the adjustment point. It would keep the strap from sliding/falling through and needing to be readjusted.

So the yellow light is on while charging turns green but doesn’t not turn on. Last only the first day. Thanks

One of the smaller Moleskine Cahier journals would probably work in the passport spot. They are pretty thin.

I just ordered the steel a7 size bottle and the leather sleeve crazy expensive but I figure with the sleeve it will work better hot instant coffee in the morning, then water from my factory water cooler during the day and it will fit into my jeans pocket

There is a pen loop on the other side. If you watch Alpaka’s deep dive, it shows that’s for a pen. The loop is for a small pen like the one you have.

I just found, and am really liking your channel. I am JUST now finishing a week’s long ordeal with Alpaka in which product was not shipped per their many conflicting emails and updates to the contrary, I am awaiting a refund or will be forced to dispute the charges should the refund take the same route their shipping did. That said, I’ll never buy (try to moreso) another of their products, but I DO think based on reviews likes yours that they merit acclaim and good reviews. Buyer beware however…they absolutely failed (me) to the highest order shipping-wise and credibility-wise throughout the entire exercise of trying unsuccesfully to get some of their gear and I’d hate to think that’s how they roll. Anyway, thats how Ive come to your good channel! I’m re-shopping for alternatives to what I didnt receive from Alpaka.

Nice review and nice self-funded purchase. I think the “pilling” you mentioned may be the result of the previous owner having had Velcro on their jacket sleeves and that catching/snagging on the zipper stitching there. I only mention it because Ive had that happen on other things.

I came across Mark Ryden (the store) when I visited the UK. I believe they are based there and manufacture in China. By all accounts good quality and they seem to be gaining popularity in other parts of the world.

I recently bought their toiletry bag the MR86. Large main compartment with 2 dry/wet separation pockets and 2 breathable mesh pockets, plus 1 quick-access zipper pocket. I took it on a recent weekend trip. Value for money for its functionality. Yes, it has a handle 😅

Hi, this bag reminds me a lot of a bag I just bought at Target, I recommend checking it out! It's called the Dinosaur Duffel Bag by Cat and Jack. It's meant for kids, but I bought one for myself since I'd have loved having this bag as a kid. It's pretty much this bag but with a dinosaur head, tail, and little feet at the bottom. Actually not a bad bag at all.

That tote looks quite useful! Love that it's washable and easily packable.

What if you sew the pockect where the compresion straps where?

I wanted to love this bag so badly! The buckles squeak like crazy and the bag pockets are a tight fit in every way for a 6 L.

Great review. I have the smaller "Tourist" version. No water pouch. I think 8L. My intention was to use as a day hike bag. First thing I did was get rid of that rubber Pull tab for the CCW area. Carry on your person not in a bag. I added a Maxpedition Hook and Loop pouch which worked well. The grab handle which I thought would be good left me wanting an actual handle. My bag does not sit up. The pockets are tapered not square which for some items is a challenge. The padded back panel which I thought would be good turned out to bounce off me as I walked. Kind of a waste of a lot of space and material. You can add a ballistic panel inside the area with Velcro. You then use the pass thru pad as a type of shield. Kind of dumb. The straps are not removeable. Overall construction is good. I put it in my At Least they Tried box.

The weight of the bag is 2 lbs, 12 oz! Not over 3 lbs like I said in the video☺️

How do the buckles feel? They seem undersized but I haven't held them or been able to test them.

Really enjoyed this review, thank you, I’m almost sold but I wanted to ask your opinion on this in comparison to the aer commuter brief. All my current backpacks and slings are aer, but I do find them quite heavy and I’m concerned about this if going for an aer brief style messenger. For context, I am very much into pouches, I would be carrying a 15 inch dell laptop (for work) which is much heavier and bulkier than my MacBook and at least 3 or 4 small to medium pouches like the alpaka hub and utility. Plus an aer tech pouch large.

Fantom MagSafe wallet is trash. MagSafe feature does not work well at all. Have to hold the wallet down while trying to get cards out. Wallet does not stay on phone when operating mechanism. Also slides off when pulling a card from already fanned out cards. It needs held down. Whats the point of MagSafe🤔? Additionally, I ordered a money clip which came separate with a tool to attach. For this money, product should not come with a side project. Should be assembled. Worst of all, unresponsive customer service. Contacted them a week ago for return. Still waiting to hear back.
