I think rick is immune to the infection. Instead of turning him into a walker it fully restores his brain. Shane says later he listened for a heart beat and he didnt hear one to lori. I think he didnt hear one because he was really dead. The walker virus just revived him, but properly and not just the brain stem like the rest.

There wasn’t anything wrong with Shane and Laurie hooking up. The only thing wrong was that they didn’t both immediately drop it once Rick showed up alive.

it's funny how in the first season the military struggled their ass of to fight walkers, meanwhile in the later season a new born could easily take down a walker

This broke Shane this stressful situation imagine the apocalypse starts and you go to save your senior officer and he’s dead and you can’t save him in the military even tweaking it broke him he didn’t wanna leave them there but he had to follow his training

I like the detail of Shane covering his face since the plague was new and he didn’t know how it spread.

I really underestimated Shane like he had no choice to leave Rick if Shane did take Rick would have been shot but the military think his bandage was a bite or some sort. Or Rick would die naturally without the hospital technology keeping him alive.

Why was the Air Force bombing a building with friendlies inside? Is this the civil war the ones who live mention or just lack of communication during Cobalt? Also if you guys don't know, the Military here left in a real hurry, they left valuable equipment behind, Stryker APCs, Humvees and even Hueys, and considering all the helicopter sounds probably Helis leaving from the abandoned camp outside, they were evacuating military from the hospital and executing Cobalt protocols, this is explained by the fact that they're near Atlanta so hordes were closing in the city and surrounding all military, so it pretty much explains why they left in a hurry, they were being overrun..

The hospital staff nearly immediately zombified after they were executed. I guess the military was kind of _not_ wrong for doing that.

When the army starts shooting the doctors, you can see clearly they are looking at shane. But dont shoot him. But why is he hiding under Ricks bed when earlier they didnt shoot him?

This scene shows why Lori was so wrong to treat Shane like she did. I’m not saying he didn’t have a darkness in him that came out in the apocalypse, but if Lori had been more understanding and compassionate, instead of accusing him of sh*t he didn’t do, maybe he wouldn’t have gone off the deep end like that.

Shane was the first one to witness how bad humanity can be durning this scene. Which was pivotal drive for his action in the walking dead.

Shane literally watched Rick die, or so he thought.. Rick was on life support and the power went out, and he STILL tried to listen for a heartbeat, when soldiers were shooting civilians AND each other in the hall. Shane didn't push that gourney in front of the door to save Rick; he did it out of respect for his friend so the zombies wouldn't feed on him.. 😢

*Shane did the best he could* Had he tried to carry (or pushed the hospital bed) Rick, they would have either been eaten by walkers or shot by the military.
