NINTENDO SWITCH REVIEW MARIO KART 8 DELUXE
LOL
Sweet!
Mine doesn't work with silver
That’s adorable!!! Beautiful cats! 🩷🩷
I guess that's why shiny has sparkles.
but why don't just play it on a gbc
this is incredible ¡I love it very much!
That’s how I first played my Pokémon Silver game. i had the original game boy, It was so awesome. But I got stuck on the 3rd Gym and deleted my save.
Dod that gameboy cost a thousand dollars
Yoooo this is so surreal! 😳 Like this feels illegal🤣
How did I go 20+ years without knowing this was possible feels unnatural to be watching a game which I know mostly in colour on a black and white system that like your stress ball btw lol
Mate question, how did you do that! Mine doesn’t work in my gameboy.
Then yo game boy broke
Late to the party, but you probably have Pokemon Crystal. Pokemon Gold and Silver were released and made compatible with both game boy, and game boy color. Pokemon Crystal is ONLY compatible with the game boy color, hope this answers your question :)
Thanks for the video big dawg. This is unironically how I played Pokemon Gold back in the day. Good times 😂
This game came out over 10 years after the original game boy and still works on it. Incredible
Original dmg game boy came out in 1989 and they finally quit selling it in store shelves in 2003. That system had a 14 year lifespan pretty crazy
@@mikemeyer5973 The switch has been out for 6 and a half years now and it might actually beat the shelf life of even that and OG DS
0:01 wth was that
The day/night difference in the game must have been much harder to perceive for the GameBoy players... cool video regardless ⭐
Oof it turned yellow
Bruh why wasn’t I alive in 1999 :(
Because you were still an itch in your dads trousers then
What happened you died and came back to life?
@@stevesharpe3370😂
Imagine catching a shiny on this and there being no difference.
Imagine all the shiny a people have lost
@@daaitken4155 they have sparkles
Shinies have a lil sparkle sound before they do their cry , so it would be quite hard to miss it
That's why they shine.
You would know because of the shiny animation

WHEN MY MUM IS MAD LOL
Gameboy Color version is so much better because of full color graphics
It's the same version, many GBC games run on classic GB.
I know
How did I go 20+ years without knowing this was possible feels unnatural to be watching a game which I know mostly in colour on a black and white system that like your stress ball btw lol
Shinies without colour...
But you know it’s shiny when the screen flashes with the stars
@@karazimsabour7899That's probably why they were there and they carried it on to later games probably just in case the player wasn't looking or to just keep the tradition
Gold and silver looked bad without color, they shouldn’t have released them on the original game boy
but gameboy color games are compatible with the gameboy original
@@deleteable. only the black ones are not the transparent ones if you put them on the 89 game boy it wont work since it got a clip lock but the GB pocket it going to show a message that it's not playable
It doesn't really matter since you can still play the game on either the Super GameBoy or the GameBoy Color....to be honest it was a clever move by Nintendo/GameFreak since the original GB model had already sold millions of units
@@lightplan The Game Boy Color is not only the Original Game Boy with colors, it is actually a little more powerful, which is why not all Game Boy Color games are compatible with the Game Boy. Some GBC games that are compatible with GB even have less detailed tiles when played in GB like the Conker Pocket Tale
Nah. GBC's were relatively expensive back then. Anyone who bought a game boy but didn't want to get a GBC was able to play G&S because of this. And the more people that got to play these gems in general is a good thing. After inflation, GBC was $116. If you bought an original game boy for $197, you were down some serious $ just to play the new pokemon.
Why does the sticker say $9999.99
Its a joke
Looked this up out of curiosity since I was just used to Crystal on the GBC. Did not know gold and silver still ran on the original gameboy!
All of the GameBoy Color cartridges that have the small notch in the upper corner are compatible with the original GameBoy (and GameBoy Pocket/Light) ;)
Makes GS even more impressive given the hardware limitations. The GBC had more advanced hardware and memory.
The black gbc games with the original gb carritage design are playable for the 89 and pocket gb thr transparent gbc will say a message that is not playable on gb pocket and the super gb but putting it on the 89 gb will be useless since it got a chip lock on the power switch on top
@@chrisray9653 Actually the GBC has the same hardware as the classic GB, except the video RAM, which is used for the colors only. If the game runs in black and white only, the GBC video RAM upgrade is not necesary.
Gold and Silver were developed for the original Game Boy. The compatibility with Color was added later in development. That's why Shiny Pokémon shine in the first place, because you can't notice the main gimmick (colour variation) on a GB Classic screen!
Sorry for not cutting out 0:13-0:16
