This was the bass cover i was looking for. The turn from the flute lead to the main riff was done very well (didn't find that in other videos). Great video! Can you please tell us which bass and amplifier you are using?

Finally one that got it right. Almost. The verse notes are shorter. More staccato. Do that and it will finally groove. For now it‘s lame. It helps to pick a bass with a pickup near the bridge. Ideally a stingray but a Jazz comes close.
