The results seem true to me, I just found it strange that I got 0% African being Brazilian
Great information, Terrence .
Interesting. My Living DNA results included Asia and Europe along with North and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Sound Quality is terrible.
I took livingDNA too and it my breakdown was pretty cool to see. I just received my results on MLK day.
What if i dont even see the logo ? I am on Mac Mini M2 Pro, Canon EOS RP and the European version of the webcam utility
Question Brother. I just got my 23 results. This update, was it something that notified you, or did you just randomly clicked app and you noticed? If not that, did you have to request this? Thanks in advanced!
@shawnebradley6542 It updates at random times.
@@TerrenceDixonVideos Bet. Appreciate FYI 👍🏾
Still not working
No luck for me - Canon EOS 60D, which I updated firmware to 1.1.2. Running Windows 10, attempting OBS and Google Meet. No instances of other EOS utilities running in the background. All I ever get is the "EOS WEBCAM UTILITY" screen.
Ive gotten my results from My Heritage and all I can see that the main Groups like Greek/southitalian , centra asian, northwest european etc. but the subgroups wont be listed... is there anybody knows how to see those?
For how much money cannon makes the cant seem to get a simple app right
I believe All bantu ppl originated in Cameroon, but one group went south east and the other group went south west. The group who went west got kidnapped from kingdom of Ndongo (ANgola and congo) and taken to usa, brazil, Mexico
Really appreciate this VERY helpful video. Definitely wouldn't have thought of the firmware being out of date --- thank you very much Terrence!
After searching like crazy to fix this problem this is the only thing I found that worked! Thank you! Hours of searching, watched your video and my problem was fixed in 10 minutes.
By running two tests, what are you hoping to gain from it? Now you're left wondering which result has more credibility over the other, generating confusion and doubt. I did only one test (Ancestry DNA) and left it at that. I'm happy with the findings, and they sound about right for my family history.
Every DNA is different all this DNA stuff is for entertainment purposes
you are predominantly yoruba and edo
Esan, not Edo.
I think myheritage and 23 and me is better then ancestry dna
Awesome......looking forward for the next one
You are a living evidence of the genocide of native americans in Jamaica by the British.
Great video btw "Content 2" means it's a blank database field. For some reason no plantation name was available or included in the details of the monies given by the British government.
Fascinating! Thank you for sharing this. You did a good job with the video.
Thanks for sharing. I did the living DNA also and love the breakdown of the African portion. They kind a do the opposite of other DNA companies. For people of majority African descent they do a deep dive in the African ancestry and then they just lump the European in one region. While other companies Except MyHertitage they break down the European and lump the African. Now 23andMe has started to break down the African section of our results and it is awesome! From 23andMe I am now connected with 2 of my Ibo Nigerian cousins and Living gave me 2% Ibo so there is for sure Ibo ethnicity in my ancestry.
I'm in a similar boat as you, and unfortunately, I already tried this... Still having issues. Hopefully I can figure it out haha
My great great grandfather Nathaniel Cameron was born in 1878 in Camrose, St James Parish and I was surprised to learn after going through the old slave registers that Nathaniel was fully West African due to all four of his enslaved grandparents being listed as "Negro" and seven of his great grandparents actually born in Africa as opposed to Jamaica between 1775-1792 meaning at least some of them were very likely among the last enslaved Africans to be brought to Jamaica before the slave trade ended in 1807
Bro, I was thinking this is what I might need to do but I thought since the last update on my DSLR was 2020 that there was no need. I searched everywhere for this info and finally found your video. Good lookin' out. New subscriber here.
woho!!! 😍
Mine stills not working 😭😢
Did this, didn't work. Canon EOS 700d. I dont have the little camera icon just the text saying "EOS Webcam Utility"
Britain ended the salve trade in either 1807 or 1808. The British Parliament passed an act to end slavery in 1833. Salvery ended in Jamaica 1838.
Thanks mate. Did what you said and it all works now. Champion!
Can this EOS utility work with my Powershot SX740HS?
I did that and it still didn’t work. Thanks for the tip
BRO I've spent HOURS going back & forth with Canon customer support for a few days and this fixed it immediately! Thanks so much for taking the time to make this video!
Jamaican need to fight for reparations from England. France for the Haitians.
Slept with their slaves?
I show Swedish too. It comes via Scotlan.
I use these a lot.
As do I I was actually surprised how many African born slaves were living on the island in the 1830s when slavery ended
Watched a ton of videos!!! This is what worked!!! Cheers mate!!
I took ancestry and main is not set up at the bottom like that where it goes to Caribbean
I think there's a good chance you have ancestors who were liberated Africans or African Indentured Labourers who arrived after slavery as well due to the very high percentage of African ancestry
As someone who regularly updates firmware for peoples phones that are not even in bootable status, i can't believe i didn't think of this - mostly because sometimes it would work out of the blue. You Sir are a live saver.
Your facial structure screams Nigeria. Congratulations 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🇯🇲🇺🇸
thank you!!!!!!
Thank you my dude!
i updated the firmware on my 7d mark ii, but its still not coming up in zoom as an option. I also installed the eos webcam utility
Incredible information! Thank u!
Amazing information, I use familysearch but you just made it much easier, thanks brethren!
Thanks l’m going give it a shot.
Thanks for the help on how to download the firmware! I added over 3,000 names to my Boyd Family tree on Ancestry then took the DNA test and they wrote me back and said, thank you for adding over 3,000 names to the Boyd family tree, BUT YOU ARE NOT A BOYD! LOL! It turns out my last name should be NAJERA! So... if I had not married a Mexican Girl and lived in Mexico for over 20 years and had I not had 2 Mexican Children...I might have been shocked, but because of the aforementioned, I was very happy to find out. As a matter of fact, the information led to finding my biological father and it was a happy meeting! Hope to chat with you more about Genealogy!
For me it was turning OFF the wifi/NFC setting, but this was also helpful! thanks!
