The engine and transmission sounds are horrible . I hope the bike is better than what it sounds . Anyway, congratulations for trying and calling it off on time . This trail would definitely be easier with a 250 with proper off road tires
Welcome in Italia 😊
That's what i expect when i try to fit a watermelon in a water cup
Gotta give it a go once in a while tho. 😂😂😂
Nice try but the bike is a little bit to heavy fore the slippery track😂
Yeah thought I would still give it a crack first tho. 😀
We been there end of August and had to give up just a bit farther from the point where you did turn around. I think there is snow all year round.
It’s so painful to be staring at the top of the pass but only being able to get there on foot. 😭
This bike is to big for proper off road...it's ok for gravel roads and light fire roads, it will never cope with proper off road.... Most off-road bike would fly up this without issues, your adv bike is far to big for one and should only be on gravel roads or light fire tracks..
I mean maybe yeah. But I’m still gunna give it a crack regardless. I ride this bike in many different settings and 95% of the time it’s perfect for me.
@BavarianBloodhound1 if it right for you is all that matters.. I've nc700s 2012 which I've changed shock and fork springs and adv tyres and sump plate, it doese well on fire roads and gravel and I'm happy with it.. like yours engine is bullet proof... Good luck...just be carefull, clearly you now know limits to your bike..
@windwalker583 Sounds like you have put lots of work in to your bike and have made it perfect for yourself, your right if it suits you then that’s all that matters cheers mate. 👍 will do. happy trails.
Nice trip, i did it a couple of times by +10-20°C 😉 Upcomming to the top, in this conditions is the one thing, but when it starts to snow during the night, you find yourself in trouble comming down... 🤣
Would have been fun at -20, Were you with ski’s? Very true about the snow situation. Cheers mate. 👍
Nice ride. I changed origin mirrors with foldable one. They are cheaper in case and can fold away. As I done myfirst TET with GS they said, areyou nuts with such expensive bike? I said, its a bike and when you cant throw it or crash it then drive another one. You did right! Dont be afraid of your bike.
Thanks mate. I’ve dropped this bike quite a lot and still haven’t managed to damage the mirrors but I guess it will happen one day.😂
Enjoying your videos, the RUclips algorithm has worked its magic.
Awesome @michaelsangster5673 glad your enjoying them. Cheers mate. 👍
I did 30% at Assietta with tuned Defender. But here we have a GSer who things he is a boss with a enduro😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@Dirk1961-17y Not sure I understand your comment but well done you know how to drive a car.👍
A good effort on a massively overweight bike with pretty much road tyres.
@SlipperyJack60 cheers mate. 👍
GSs are dressed like adventure bikes when underneath is a street bike with a lesser suspension. God how I hate that telelever/paralever setup!
@C_R_O_M________ Fair enough mate, it's not your cup of tea. But it wasn't the bike that let me down (it was me not having enough balls and skill to carry more momentum). The bike is capable of so much more than I can give it. What don't you like about the setup, doesn't feel like all the other bikes or something else? To say it is a street bike is a very incorrect statement in my opinion, 200mm suspension travel is not a street bike component, A 63.8 degree Steering head angle is not a street bike component, a Payload of 228kg is not a street bike component. There is a plethora of other things that are definitely not street bike components. Yes a lot of the owners use them as street bikes, but it is not one! Yes this bike is heavy (KTMs Flagship ADV bike is now heavier) still doesn't make it a street bike!!! Anyway, just an opinion. 👍
@@BavarianBloodhound1 the telelever/ paralever crap (I call it what I think it is) makes it only a street bike. The dry clutch that burns as soon as you slip it on a hill is not even good for street bikes. The tubeless tires and wide rims are street bike material. I could go on, but overall, BMW depends on marketing more than ability and real value. The most dirt worthy BMW in the adventure segment right now is the new GS900 but I wouldn't pay anywhere near their asking price for a mediocre lower shelve suspension and a Chinese motor. The 1300 you got is a bike I would like to ride but that suspension just ruins everything for me.
@C_R_O_M________ I agree that the dry clutch is no good, but the 1300 has a wet clutch. and the tires are fat (but so are other adv bikes, not all but yes) I don't know which I prefer, tubed or tubeless. In DH mountain biking tubeless is considered the best, is it the other way around in off-road motorcycles? I understand that performance enduro riders and rally riders run mooses but that is for an entirely different purpose. Thanks for the opinions. 👍
@@BavarianBloodhound1 Mousses are run only in lightweight bikes or they'll disintegrate, basically from overheating and weight. There are also grades of hardness in mousses and racers use whatever suits the particular race in hand. Tubes allow for much lower pressures than tubeless because of the bead which is different in tubeless rims and prevents the tire from dismounting. Mountain bikers don't lower tire pressures that much (typically 20-30psi - which is much higher than 10 to 20 psi on dirt bikes) or they'll crash their rims. Different size tires, different rims, different loads, different suspensions, different impacts, etc. It's a good thing that BMW went away with dry clutches on this model but they sold millions of GSs advertising them as adventure bikes with dry clutches for decades. I lost my trust in them for many reasons.
@C_R_O_M________ Ahh ok now I understand the tubed argument, more adjustability in tire pressures. 👍 I get it man, once you lose faith it's hard to even want to come back to it. maybe one day I will feel the same way or maybe I won't, time will tell. Anyway, thanks for the insights and go and blast some trails on the 990 for me.
Speed and momentum is your friend. Also lower tyre pressures will help on loose rock.
@TheSpragz These are good tips, I was running my off-road pressures but I could have gone lower again for sure. Speed, Momentum and courage were my biggest issues indeed next time I will man up and try to go quicker. 😬 Cheers for the tips mate. 👍
It's smart to let it go sometimes. Getting injured ,oneself or his bike , could lead to more unwanted consequences.
Exactly my thoughts as well. Cheers mate. 👍
Awesome vlog mate!! I just found your channel. Im going to go back to the start and start watching 👌 ive been thinking of getting a insta 360 myself, thanks for sharing
@Biggiesbikes Cheers mate, hope you enjoy the content. It's quite a good camera and really easy to use but the editing process can be a pain sometimes. although I don't use premier pro and apparently there is an extension that allows you to edit it on the fly as opposed to editing the 360 vid first then adding it to your video. cheers for the sub mate. :)
The camera never shows how steep terrain actually is. If I had to guess, based on the trees, I’d say around 20% grade. Good times😃
@gregggorman6197 It was very fun for sure. someone else mentioned if I want to show steepness that I should look at the trees directly, I will make sure to do that next time. Thanks for watching.
This side of the mountain is indeed difficult, even for experienced riders this was surely not easy. The other side (approaching from the south) is very easy as well as Assietta itself. You did very well. Good video. I would not approach this road on the GS1300 to be honest (I am not pro at all). Both yourself and the bike did very well.
@nkwd007 Thanks mate, I appreciate the kind words. I also am definitely not a pro. I have since seen other videos of people going to the other side to climb up to assietta. (smarter people). :0
@@BavarianBloodhound1 That's what I did too :) but didn't record. I will do the other side in a couple of years when I should be able to return to Alps again. Next year - Pyrenees and Ladakh. All the best on your adventures
cheers mate. maybe we will meet in the pyrenees. ;)
@@BavarianBloodhound1 Absolutely!
👍 👍
....with a 300 2T you would have had more fun, trust me
@robertovillani6695 I'm sure I would have indeed. Even tho I was huffing and puffing and bitching and moaning I still had an awesome time. cheers mate.
Did this one going down from the mountain during summer 2024 and as a beginner it was not easy at all even wtih dry road ! Saw few bikes down where you are at 3:40 (and 23:00). Gratz to you mate !
@ThonetHaricotsVerts Cheers mate👍👍 It's good when somebody has experienced the same road because the camera doesn’t do it justice.
@@BavarianBloodhound1 Can assure it is a hard one ! (at 20m of my only vid if you wanna check). Have fun riding and looking forward to see more of your vids mate !
@ThonetHaricotsVerts Cheers mate. I will go have a look at your upload right now. 👍👍👍
That would be a sweet ride. Video never does it justice 👌🏻
Yeah it was fun for sure, I will definitely be coming back to finish what I started next year.
no comment. Just st.....
No place for a fat bike but you did great. I learned a few things along the way thanks for a great video
Cheers mate, I gave it a go at least. glad you enjoyed the video.👍
It was definitely not for a lack of skill and technique. The only thing that would have helped was maybe different tires. The momentum you kept up and lines you chose were great.
Thanks for the kind words mate.👍
You called it quits when you needed to, rather than chest banging yourself into an accident of unknown proportions. Smart & responsible riding. The GS can get almost anywhere, it’s us who are running out of skills long before the bike runs out of ability. That’s the fun part, though. Awesome video! Subscribed.
Thanks for the sub mate, And I couldn’t have put it better myself. Cheers buddy.👍
Have you tried anything else? The GS is crap off road! Had two of them! Never again!
@C_R_O_M________ Honda XR 250 XR 500 yamaha WR 450 Honda cb500x Tenere 660z Tiger 900 rally Strom 1050 KTM 990 I've tried a few and yeah It's not the best off-road bike but it is by far not the worst. What made you buy the second one? What do you ride now?
@BavarianBloodhound1 the first GS1200 I bought was needing more oil than my Greek salad (from new). 1L per 1000kms consistently and its ABS was dangerous (2005 model). I traded that in for a 2006 GSA that blew up (the valve hit the piston at 20K kms then when they fixed it the bearing at the axle (the differential) blew up. AdvRider thread started for that conundrum at the time. Traded that in for my first 990 and sold that at 110K kms. Among other bikes I've owned, I now ride a 500EXC , a GTR1400 and the love of my life... my second 2009 990 Adventure with 280mm suspension travel, higher seat (+4cm), high bend farbars and rox risers, lower and wider footpegs a fuel map that I made on my own with TuneECU and 16/45 gearing. I could go up that trail in the clip at 60 kms/h sleepwalking. With telelever/ paralever the bike bounces like a pogo stick. Its a terrible setup only good for road and even there it lacks feeling and feedback. GSs are big comfortable couches for people who like riding on the tarmac and honestly my 990 with its narrower Excel rims (narrower than stock) is untouchable in the twisties... That's what I ride. P.S. your tires and their pressure (I suspect) are also a hindrance. The electronics as well. I hope you had traction control off when you tried that hill climb of it would kill your momentum. Finally a tip from extreme enduro riders: when starting on a hill either roll back (using the rear brake or clutch slipping) to find better surface or sit as far back as you can to increase rear wheel traction with your weight. Pushing a 500lbs bike isn't going to work. If you could stand on the pegs that would make a great difference in traction (watch how Jarvis does it at extreme positions) but you need lots of static balance for initiating that. Also the left rut was the one to choose without momentum because you would be able to paddle with both your feet whereas on the higher rut you'd risk falling over. With momentum I'd probably choose the right one too as it offered a better exit point.
@C_R_O_M________ I appreciate the proper feedback mate cheers. 👍 wow, It sounds like you had pretty rough experiences with the GS and I can understand that ruined your confidence with them (it would for me as well). My experiences have been much different. I've now done 21,000km and not a single drop of extra oil has ever been needed. I had read somewhere that some people were experiencing this as well so I made sure to keep checking mine and no problems for me. As for the blow up, damn that sucks. The 990 is the better bike for off-roading definitely and on other smaller bikes with my skill level I would be able to make it up this track also. Now, I'm still new to riding this bike off-road even tho probably 65% of all my kms are spent off-road and it's the first bike I've had with so many electronics. because in enduro pro mode I have so much slip allowance, I sometimes forget to turn traction control fully off when it is needed, and yes this time I forgot. So that was absolutely killing my momentum. This was also my first proper hill climb with this bike ever. Regards to tire pressure, I was running my off-road pressures but I could have gone lower for sure and that would have helped. I think my biggest issue for not being able to make it was just commitment. I was approaching these climbs at about 25-30kmh with a lot of nerves and probably went into protect mode instead of attack. For me 95% of the Italian TET was an absolute dream on this bike and I couldn't imagine doing it on an enduro for the one or two times that my skill level required it. I will go and watch oll mate Graham for the technique you mentioned as I'm always up for learning better skills. Cheers mate. 👍
Read the instructions, you can't use the extended selfie stick and u bolt clamp off road!
@captainbarnicle8548 wow wow wow, there's instructions? I don't think I complained about how the u bolt clamp failed in an off-road situation with the selfie stick!!!! Fully aware that it is not RECOMMENDED for off-road use. But my dumbass will continue to use it that way.😛😛😛 I will go fish out the instructions that I through in the bin the instant I opened the package (like all real men do) 😂😂😂😂😂 Totally a joke mate, it's all good. Cheers bud. 👍👍👍
That's gotta be 11 outta 10 for effort Tom, Cracking show bud 👍
Thanks mate. I did give it a crack, it was just out of my skill range at the time. I will give it another go next time. 👍👍
Starting at number 1, like your content!!
@michaelsangster5673 Thanks mate, You are a legend 💪 I really appreciate it. I hope you enjoy watching my entire catalogue.
My last serious off roading days were back in 1985 on an IT200L 😅…it would wheelie and bounce its way up any hill…todays penchant for taking these mammoth bikes on similar trails is puzzling but I admire the guts and technique . Today bicycle mountain bikers balance E bikes power against added weight , think today in relation to motorcycles , it’s just not rational taking 230kg bikes on hard trails . But I am sure it’s fun😊
@SomewhereInside I'm sure the IT200L was a weapon of a bike. I think I could have done this trail on a smaller bike without question, but that is one trail out of all of the Italian TET. (3000km)ish I love taking this bike off-road as it ads that extra layer of complexity and the only thing stopping it from getting to the top was me. If you have a look at my 15,000km review video to the end you will see the reason why I choose this bike over a smaller more off-road capable bike. Thanks for the praise mate, it's appreciated. 👍
On the bright side it was a cool shot. But you need some sponsorship from them 😂
@MrKonstantinosP. Yeah, I need a sponsorship from them because this camera gets abused and I don't know when it will kamikaze itself again😂😂😂 I also enjoyed the shot. 😃 cheers mate.👍
@ are you sure this is TET it seems you were lost in the forest 😂
😂😂 I've had a couple people suggest this but I can assure you I was following the blue line on the gps. 👍
@ no I’m sure you did it was just so sketchy 😂
😂😂 agreed.👍
A better camara would make it a better watch ,anyway better luck ,skill next time, and don,t ride alone.
@scootjockey Cheers mate. any suggestions on action camera? (this was the gopro 13 black) Were you watching in 1440p or higher? 1080p can look grainy!!
@BavarianBloodhound1 Dude I have no idea I was just saying I watch Billy Moore on RUclips he has a great camera perhaps 🤔 you could ask him.
@scootjockey No worries, I will go and check him out.👍 Thanks mate.
Yeah, no way I would get up there either right now. On one side I need training on the big girl but Adam Riemann just posted a video, that supports my original thought. I need to get a dirt bike and practice on it. But with that one I can sadly only practice on an mx track. They are too loud for Germany to sneak into a forest as I can with the 1300😅
@Wollestar Yeah it would be good to have a smaller practice bike but I think time on your bike in the bush is the best way to get better. I haven’t watched his video yet and maybe I will change my mind but I would have made it up this climb on a dirt bike, and I don't see how that would help me with my bike. The nuances of my bike and a dirt bike are so very different so I think the best training you can do is on your bike. but I will go watch his video and perhaps eat my own words later.😃 Cheers mate.👍
@BavarianBloodhound1 there is a lot of truth in your comment as well. I think he means general skills for typical movement of the bike, not tiptoeing around, because you are scared to damage the bike like doing jumps, wheelies, lose traction, etc. That should all translate to a bigger bike
@Wollestar I will now proceed to feast on my own words, nom nom nom. I went and watched his video and he actually had a point that I hadn’t even considered in the first 30 seconds, most of the new adv riders have never ridden off-road before on any bike. I grew up with dirt bikes and riding around the cane fields near my home and while I was never hardcore into it, it did furnish me with some basic off-road skills which then translate over. I think my first statement from my previous comment is now incorrect. 😬😬 don't listen to me.🤣🤣 but also he isn't saying go and get the most powerful 2 stroke you can find, (it's just what he has) you could also get something like a WR250F which is also quite powerful but less painful on the ears. (4 stroke).
@BavarianBloodhound1 i think your first statement is still true, but only once you have basic skills developed. That is my main issue, though. I've never been on a dirtbike. It is not very common in Germany. I will get in contact with the local MX/Enduro/Trail club near me and ask them for some advice. I guess they should have some experience in training noobs like me😁
Yeah I think it is definitely a good idea to get some mx training. like I said, I didn’t even consider people who haven’t grown up with dirt bikes first. Hopefully they have a program for you.😊😊
How to disassemble insta 360.... First bye BMW GS.😊 Very entertaining video.
@HaiMainite 😂😂😂 That should have been my title!!! Cheers mate.👍
The problem is not the bike it's you It's not a hard way. Take riding lessons and improve your riding skills. Ride a lot in the field with groups If you keep at it I promise you that next year you will do it without a problem From what I see.. Improve your posture (knees and elbows) Release the bayonet fixed gas Correct path selection and looking far ahead Good luck to you
@guybadichi2033 I agree that I'm the problem and can definitely improve my skills, I think the video makes it seem not very steep and it doesn’t show how big some of these ruts and rocks were so to say it's not a hard way is misleading I think, but yes it was still my skills that couldn’t get me there. I will definitely come back and conquer it next year. cheers mate.👍
@UliKuder Thanks a lot for the support and kind words, mate! 👍 I’m not too worried about what others think of my skills. I’m exactly where I need to be, and I keep improving with every kilometre I ride. It’s not about being the best. Up until this video, I’d never even tackled something like this. So, I’m pretty happy with how far I’ve come. I’m confident now that I’ve got the skills and knowledge to take it on next time. For me, failure is just a part of the process and growth, and it’s something I want to show on my channel. Thanks for watching👍

Cheers mate. 🤘🤘
I algo have a 1300 gs Trophy, but without radar ... great bike, heavy only when standing, once riding it is easier to handle than many lighter bikes. Build quality is a bit lower than a Triumph Tiger 900 (I still have it and I'm planning on selling it) , I also notice few wires visible and the engine gasket :) The quick shifter of the bmw is not even close to the one on the Tiger. But the 1300 leaves the Tiger in the dust on almost every other aspect, torque, brakes, stability on rough surfaces , suspension, wind protection, high speed smoothness, ... etc, it is just better , well except for the backlit switches :)
@armandomorales5857 Well said sir, totally agree with the quickshifter as well. cheers mate👍
my most favourite part of this TET trip....did it last year on 1250....and it was not easy!!! I had to fight hard also...
Nice, I recon your a better rider than me. 🥹 I just needed a bit more commitment on my behalf. cheers mate, I will conquer it one day for sure. 👍
@ could be but my major advantage….I was not alone. I had a buddy also on GS. So we could support each other. Fingers crossed. Next time u will make it. I am sure:)
@neversaynever222 Ahh I see, I'm a Nigel no friends. 😝 next time for sure. 👍
@BavarianBloodhound1 Have you, by chance, had an opportunity to rulide the 1300GSA? Just courious your thoughts if so cuz the GSA is supposed to the the "Adventure" bike, yeah; you know offroad and stuff: longer suspension travel, etc. Yet your bike seems, to me, it is more suited for ADV'ing being that it is lighter, smaller, more agile frame. The GSA seems more of a TOURING bike, perhaps, with just a "drizzle" of offroad comparing the two 1300s.
@onemileattatime2642 I haven’t had an opportunity to ride one yet as the demo bike here has been stored for winter. 😔 But I do believe that the standard gs is the more offroad capable of the two, the adventure carries more fuel up high which will affect the top heavyness of the bike (although still a lot better that other bikes) and as a lot of people winge at me my bike is too heavy, the adventure is heavier. It's exactly as you put it; "Yet your bike seems, to me, it is more suited for ADV'ing being that it is lighter, smaller, more agile frame." "The GSA seems more of a TOURING bike, perhaps, with just a "drizzle" of offroad comparing the two 1300s." That said, I still think it would be a great bike and it would be far more capable then what a lot of people would think.
Seems tires are ok, you just need more commitment. As soon you started losing speed you were doomed.
@RideWithGec yeah I think that was the biggest part of the failure, not enough balls!!! speed and power solves everything 😂 next time I will conquer it. 👍
If you want to show how steep it is , take a video of the tree angle beside the trail. Great video, my wife asked me if I did the same hahahahaha
@SaskatoonPaul haha, cheers mate. I did not think to take a look at the trees for the steepness I will make sure to do this next time as the video really doesn’t show it.
you need 100kg less!
@MarineEnfield09 If you wanna call me fat just say it!! 😂😂 I think I just need some better skills.👍
@@BavarianBloodhound1 no it's the bike, it's far to heavy for proper offroading...hard pack fire roads or gravel is fine for your gs anytging more you are going to get into trouble or injury, for price you could have bought descent off-road and a decent adv or road bike... Good luck anyway .
@windwalker583 Yeah but am I going to tow a trailer with another motorcycle on it so that I can change? A more skilled rider on my bike could get up this trail, even now if I went back to this climb I think I could make it as I’ve now ridden most of the Italian TET and gotten some more experience with climbing. Anyway thanks for the opinion. 👍
Assietta itself is a rather easy gravel road but you certainly found the most difficult track to get there :D the challenge of it is very nice though.
yeah I seem to have gone the hard way up. 😂😂😂 I have heard now that there was an easier way but at the time I didn’t know this. Anyway next time I'm there I will try this road again and conquer it.💪
Been in this area several times, you hit a side climb towards Assietta - this is not part of the Assietta road! I believe I got fooled in that trail in the year I got my KTM 620LC4. Assietta itself is really easy, it can be done by any bike.
@spamcatcherforholger Next time I’m in the area I will give it another go but if I can't make it that time then I will go around and take the easy way. cheers mate. 👍
Brave man! Is this the ascend from Sauze d'Oulx? We rode Assietta in August, it's really not challenging - but we avoided this section and started at Colle delle Finestre, finished close to Sestriere.
@teneridertravels brave? or stupid? 😂 That is the exact climb in the video, you completed it the smart way 😝
WOW 😮 COMPLIMENTI CHE BEL PERCORSO 💪🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 IN CHE REGIONE HAI REGISTRATO IL VIDEO…?
Hey, this was the trans euro trail from Oulx heading up to Assietta-col Basset. cheers mate.👍
@ GRAZIE 🙏
👍
No shame here , respect for trying ...
Cheers mate. 👍
What? All that technology and weight you couldn't get up that hill?
@frankspeakmore7104 Haha, right? You’d think with all the gadgets, I could just press a button and bipity bopity boop your at the top. I'm no professional mate, and I don't claim to be one. It wasn't because of the bike it was because of my skill letting me down.
Give the fella a break, eh! At least the champ is actually riding this bike offroad! No one else on YT is showing anything like this on the GS. At least he is riding beyond the scope of Starbucks.
@onemileattatime2642 Cheers mate, Its ok, the GS always has haters. I do like me a good coffee tho. 😂😂😂
Nice video! You where lucky with your 360 camera. I lost mine somewhere on a track, never found it!And great job on the big bike! We will do the tet Italy in 2025!
Yeah I was lucky not to lose it. You will have a blast on the husky 701 for sure, there are some great trails here in italy. thanks for the support and kind words mate.👍
@@BavarianBloodhound1 Thanks and keep riding!
Cheers mate, you too👍
Well the views looked good. Better to turn around and not damage anything.
Yeah I could have tried again but I thought better of it. 👍
Just the right amount of uphill 😅
😂 for me to fail. 😂😂
@@BavarianBloodhound1 😅
👍
@@BavarianBloodhound1 I think many would have turned around and tried to find another route. Well done, sometimes you have to challenge yourself to grow. That's how I feel and striving for.
I totally agree and I think if I went back there now I would be able to conquer it. This was only my second day in the alps and definitely the steepest road I have ever been on. Pushing yourself a little bit past your comfort zone is what makes you a better rider. Cheers mate. 👍
I'm disappointed in the bike, it's at least 100 lbs. too heavy ; a new HP2 is long overdue...but it probably will never happen in my lifetime.
I'm not at all disappointed with this bike, I knew it was an elephant when I was buying it. That said, we would be happy if the gs was a sub 200kg bike. however it is lighter than the previous 1250 and it has more power (dream combo). A HP2 would be awesome as well for sure.
If this bike is too heavy; BMW has a the smaller: 900GS, 800GS, and 310GS. Trade down.
👆👆👆👍
@@BavarianBloodhound1 Get that elephant on your leg and you will be blowing a different tune. I would not use a GS for these kind of steep trails. Keep it safe!
@javierpallalorden I think actually with the cylinder heads sticking out so far, this bike is one of the least likely to pin you down or crush your leg. (Obviously it can still happen) I have dropped it many, many times and no injuries yet. Thankfully Maybe I don't ride hard enough or maybe just have a good dismount technique I don't know. Cheers mate and I will try to keep it safe while out on trails like this as much as I can.👍
I can just imagine how steep that was! For me it is the steep rocky descends that is even more of a challenge than going up, maybe because it looks scarier downwards 😀What is that protector you have on the 360 camera? That did a great job, need to get one of those for myself as well!
The descent's are scary but I find them easier because you never run out of momentum and most of the time it's easy to control your speed. (most of the time) 😂😂 The Insta 360 is built pretty tough, this only had the standard lense protectors on and the thermo grip cover on it. I was probably very lucky with the direction it was facing when it hit the ground tho, so it was minimal damage. It is showing some pretty heavy battle scars tho.
Good effort! Wow.
Thanks mate.👍👍
