Skirti g board looks great! Curious why you are putting up wallpaper instead of painting the walls?
Floorboards are cool!
You're really making progress on the renovation! 👏🙌👍👍👍
Fantastic, Tony, 👏👍!
You're making terrific progress. That's a HUGE job. Must feel good though to start decorating and seeing your vision taking another step forward.
Great job! Dropping screwdrivers always part of the job too!
lol. Love the ending.
Doing a great job Tony.
Looking great Tony 👍
Probably too late, but if that’s genuine knotty pine on the ceiling, and if it wasn’t properly sealed originally (and why would they?) you’ll need to give it a coat of Kilz (or whatever equivalent is available to you in the UK, but Kilz is good stuff & I wouldn’t use anything else if it was available) or those knots will eventually bleed through whatever you paint it with.
Isn’t it great when you stop tearing down and begin decorating. Well done, Tony.
Lol ohhh my that wall paper
Great progress! That new wallpaper is quite charming. Having a mate that’s a joiner is a huge help, I’m sure. I was about to offer the use of my wee pickup truck to help take all that laminate to recycle - but then I remembered I’m in a different country. 😂
Ohhh....I really liked the turquoise flower wallpaper
Are those stickers on the radiator?
My dad painted our kitchen bright yellow and the kitchen cupboards red. 🙄
That painted ceiling is going to be absolutely beautiful when it is done!
Those colors are synonymous with the 60s and early 70s. Very neutral earth tones. If you threw up some macrame, hanging plants, and some orange and red furniture you'd be propelled back to the groovy days of yesteryear. Mind you, some things are better off leaving in the past. Looking great Tony! 👍
Keep up the good work, Tony! As you peel back the layers, it’s fascinating to see the difference in building materials and techniques across time (not to mention different countries) - though that mustard yellow and swamp green seem to have been universal back in the 60s…
Such a beautiful house even before the renovation! Those wardrobes were the “in” thing as my in-laws had one too! You are doing great, love watching
Tony - Mustard doesn't suit you? 😁
I need a dose of your creativity and get up and go! How wonderful! Thank you for taking us along for the journey 💙🏴💙
You've got momentum now, Tony!
Hang in there Tony! You’ll have a beautiful home!
So much progress, great job Tony
2 comments. The dart board comment. It must be emotional at times to take things apart? What were you watching in the kitchen on the tele? Stand up comedy?
Great job!
Mustard? More of Baby Poo Green.
It sure is alot of hard work. Just think how beautiful it will be when it's all finished.
So why are you putting more paper up and then painting it ?
Looking great Tony! I truly wish I could jump on a plane and come help.
If the bulk of the paper is off and there is just lining paper or thin paper a spray down with warm water and fairy liquid left to sit for a few mins will come straight off and minimises any blown plaster. We've just stripped my mum's entire flat which was top to bottom woodchip 😅
I bet you’ll never want to see another roll of wallpaper in your life.
Once all that wallpaper is done, you will be enjoying it more. That's a lot of work done. Great job ❤
Our kitchen was that colour in the 60s as well, accented with a sky blue colour!
Ya my dad painted the kitchen that same yellow in the 60’s
Great job!!!
I believe there's a roller that puts holes in the paper so the steam gets behind it better.
Will you paint those walls? Or hang new wallpaper?
Thank you Tony for sharing this emotional journey with us! You are doing a great job and this is going to be very exciting to follow ❤ So very very sorry about the big loss of your parents ❤
Brave Tony! When everything is done it will be nice to have the family together in a comfortable home. A lot of energy because there is a lot to be done.😮
Am I the only one thinking, "I have a week off Tony. Happy to lend a hand!"
Can be soul destroying stripping wallpaper , keep going Tony your doing a great job.
Not sure if you have Plasma donating places there. We have companies here we donate "sell" plasma too. We get $400 -$500 tax free a month for donating 2 times a week. CSL, BIO Life are a couple of the popular ones here.
😮😮 here in the UK we donate blood etc for free. Then when you need a donation yourself there is no bill.
@@alibali193 plasma is different then blood, they use it for medications
Great progress. Can't wait to see the end results. Thanks for taking us along with your journey.
Sorry for your loss. I can't believe how quickly you have made progress. Well done.
Well done Tony!
Stick to making videos Tony ;) lol
Oh please use a mask!!!
Sorry for your loss, good luck with the renovation mate.
